    Carl Ikeme.......

I am beginning to really rate him. Really commands his box. Feel far more confident with him when he's catching balls from crosses than Cerny.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

I have slagged him off big time, but i am begining to change my mind. He needs to keep this form up though!!

IMO though we need a keeper in the summer, and id rather it was Speroni!
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

still struggling to accept that our own keeper is being kept out for a loan keeper and still without any explanation.

Still not sure about him, from what I have seen to date he has poor reflexes by comparison to Cerny or Camp.

            Good with crosses though.

Not sure how true this is but I heard Cerny is very near a clause in his contract and the club don't view him as long term hence him not getting match time.

The early rumours were he had back problems and was having injections regularly as pain relief but if that is the case then why is he on the bench hence why I don't believe this is the case!

Not sure what is the case but the first would make some sense.

better than cerny in my opinion... can actually catch a ball and commands his area well.

Knows when to punch it too, and with good distance.

He hasn't played in a proper competitive game for ages, until he came to us... so it's bound to take time to settle into the swing of things.

                    He's improving quickly now.

I'd rather a Speroni or the lad at Coventry(?), but Ikeme is showing signs of becoming a very decent keeper, after a dodgy start.
                    Fair play to him.

As I said, I thought he was outstanding at home to West Brom.

Definately improving and helps that he has more confidence in his defense too, but wtf was going on with his collision with one of their forwards outside the box, no where near the ball which had to be cleared by a defender?
