Steve Yates did it to me at Watford one year. He didn't come over. Wouldn't have wanted his shirt anyway. Lol!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

should be club rules if you hit a fan with a ball you give him /her your shirt which comes out your wages maybe more will be on target lol
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

            Cookies the best :drunk:
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

So he gets a broken nose and a sweaty shirt thrown at him for his troubles....

Jesting aside, fair play to Cookie for what he did, but to be honest you would hope it's the least any player would do in the circumstances, and i would imagine it is actually only a small minority who wouldn't make any gesture of some sort.

I saw the incident yesterday and what Cook did after the game, No doubt that Cook does his best where supporters are concerned, its only what I would expect but in this day and age not always what you get. Well Done Lee Cook

should add that Cook really should have been on for Hogan from about 65 minutes and we may well have nicked all three points, I thought Colin was a bit negative with the subs yesterday and didnt really go for it
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

Happened to me as a kid watching a pre-season friendly against Leyton Orient although i can't say i was in tears, anyway Ray Wilkins came over and apologised but i didn't get a bloody shirt out of it.

I wouldn't expect anything else from Lee Cook, what a great man he is and gives everyone his time.

I bet if you let Cook know about the glasses, he will buy your boy a new pair too. Who knows may even get him a couple of tickets for another game.

The kid should have seen it coming.
