  • Were Players "Unprofessional" In Last 2 months?

I came back on the coach with an old familar face, who doesn't post on messageboards as asked me to post it up.

How can under Warnock we play like a team and a unit, yet under hart and then harford we were useless.

Would also add in Neil Warnock's post game match conference

"I don't think I've ever had ability like I've got in this group of players."

Tough question, because even though i give 100% were i work over the last year we have had a company who has opened negotiations for a take over. Everytime when it comes to coughing up the cash they drop out, they have just appeared again, and this time they actualy mean business. But my point is with all this uncertainy they have caused, even though i give 100% i know part of me is fed up and a little part of caring has been lost, and with no direction i am not thew same person.

This is due to thier bad management and uncertainy they have developed. I will give 100%, and once the take over happens i will get back that caring as i will have a new direction to take my department and team.

I feel Fav developed the same feeling in the players, they tried and tried hard but lost a little bit of caring and direction due to Fav creating so much uncertainty.

Now warnock is here its sorted and now it back, dont forget they are still humans and will react to such in the same way as we would,
One for all.... and all for one

Personally think it was a rudderless ship although we had managers in place they were not directing nor organising. When you throw into the mix that we have some mediocore players the last two months is the result.

If we had 2 or 3 leaders on the pitch in the mould of John Terry or Paul Ince (not there ability but character) this may have dragged us through but the current squad does not have this other then Gavin Mahon in my opinion, and he is out. Perfect example of this would have been the Clive Woodward v Martyn Johnson situation in the Rugby world cup!!!!!

Warnock has come and instilled the managment and fair play to the players they have responded

To me, it is clear that the team are being Managed now, in the true sense of the word. Warnock (and indeed Mick Jones, who came over very well in his interview on QPRplayer) have control of them, and as soon as they arrived the players so obviously had respect for them.
Also, with the orange one no longer looming in the background, the confusion has been removed about who is running the team.
I think to an extent the players have been unprofessional, they do get paid extremely well for what they do, and should give 100% all the time. But with new Managers coming and going, all with different ideas of tactics, team selections etc, you can understand why some end up dazed and confused.
And others would just take the pyss.
I just feel so much better that we seem in so much better shape on and off the pitch than we were even a few short weeks ago.
Think we will have some really enjoyable matches to watch between now and the end of the season

probably, but lead by an unprofessional board.

hopefully Colin now has full control and the players know this. We have some decent players with ability that just wasnt doing the business past few months due to all the instability and too many cooks scenario.

And I don't think you can just put it down to the players being unprofessional. The management style has a lot to answer for. Warnock knows what he's doing, and that's the BIG difference between every manager we've had since Ollie, including Sousa and GiGi. Harsh on Paulo as it was his 1st job in managemenet in this country, but it's still the truth. NW is the man we've been waiting for.
