  • Do you think we give players enough of a chance?

I think likes of Hogan for example who are young (and british) tend to be given more of a chance than older or foreign players. Hogan whilst a decent player, is her really any better than say danny parejo for example? Parejo in my opinion got undue stick. He was young and not used to the pace or style of the english league. When he got caught in possesion, the LR groan would ring out round the ground.
Look at adel....clearly got talent but he's not everyone's cup of tea. If he was british and our own player would he be given the same treatment? Can you fault adel's commitment? He's selfish yes, but he does try hard for the most part.
Priskin.....not the greatest but how many games has he had? Shouldn't he be given say 2 months to settle into the team?
I remember furs getting abuse to start with......look how he turned out!

That is what happens when clubs look for quick and easy solutions, I hope with Warnock we can build a more solid foundation.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Warnock is the type of manager who lets players succeed and fail. What I mean is that he can make a player shine through good man management - like Taraabt - or allow a player to time and time again prove conclusively that they aren't good enough so he gets rid of them rather than letting them go and pondering whether they could have been good enough.

Warnock isn't the type to pick then drop then pick a player again. He'll give Ephraim a run of matches and make a final decision on whether he is good enough once and for all. For too long we've had players in this squad who we have no idea whether they really can cut it (Alberti & Balanta spring to mind) and as a result we are paying unneccessary wages.

And giving warnock 3 year contract will help him to do just that

          I agree with you all.

We are impatient and for years now, I have often thought and said that players deservbe a run of games in the side to show us what they can do, bfoire discarding them. This was back when QPR had players suvh as Pea****, Impey and Ferdinand starting out.

Parejo wasn't given much of a chance fans were critical after the loss at Sheff Utd (2nd league game).

This season, how much of a chance was Pellicori given?

Yes he was slow, but he has scored a couple of goals for Mantova and has shown that he is a penalty box striker and that perhaps would have done well now under Warnock, and QPR wouldn't now have the extra cost of contributing to the wages of Bent, Priskin and Pellicori.

Yeah fully agree mate, players need a run of games to show what they can do, only then can a decision be made really. We can't expect everyone to have an
impact from the get go. Only trouble is trying to give players a run of games when you, we, manager think they ain't as good as someone else. For example under the system we play now, it would have to have been pellicori or Simpson. Could we all be patient while he has a run of games, nope so they get the odd cameo for 10mins and that's pretty much it for them cos not enough time to prove urself

Think Helgusson is a good example of this.He had the crowd on his back and looked demoralised and his confidence look shattered.

Then he went to Watford and he looked a new man.
