Blackpool set to beat QPR in race for Everton loan star
It's not ever a straight fight though is it?
Moyes will probably want the boy local so he's esay to keep an eye on - plus I would think a youngster like this would commute to the sea side where as a move to London has it's down side for him.
Couple that with respective league standings and our current loan status and the straight fight becomes more like a boomerang I say
The Boy Looked Quality When I Saw him Play For Everton , Just what we need . But we have so many loans atm , who will make way ? and would he pick us over blackpool ?

a) Blackpool are local and convenient (easy to keep an eye on, less travelling, and no chance of homesickness.
b) QPR have too many loans to use in a matchday squad already.
It looks like for some reason other than injury or form, Ikeme will play instead of Cerny.
Simpson and Taarabt are also almost certain starters. Perhaps QPR are not selecting Borrowdale for similar reasons to Cerny, so Hill is also almost a definite starter, unless Connolly can switch to the LB role to accomodate Coleman.
If so, it leaves a decison between Bent and Priskin for the other loanee place in the matchday squad.
Positions filled by loanees:
GK - Ikeme
RB - Coleman
M - Taarabt
S - Simpson & Priskin or Bent
1 of the above & Hill fighting for a place on the bench.

The only one likely to be sent back would be Hill.FulhamC states thatBent and Priskin barring serious injury, or wearing normal coloured boots, are here to stay.

That's what I said diddle eye
Only kidding mate, you expanded the point and between us I think we showed why it cannot be a straight fight when it comes to signing this lad.

yes, you did, but I started typing my response without seeing yours, and then got called away for a while. I came back, finished writing up and clicked on send. So it just goes to show that great minds think alike.
Looked very good player in the Europa League early on in the season. As Morris says he is a proper right back - not a centre back/midfielder filling in at right back. Future International player who'll become a Premiership regular in a couple of seasons time.
Season long loan next season if we can't get Clyne would be very nice.
