  • Ideas to Discuss With Ishan and Amit Monday

Now its in the public domain, please use this thread for genuine ideas that could benefit the club.

I know by speaking to Amit, that the board have good ideas to get the atmosphere going inside the ground, even suggesting possible ideas for kids to be mascots, drums paid for the club (no, I didn't even mention it), though he did ask why I had stopped LOL. Ideas that benefitted the club before, how could we bring the supporters back and potential prices for next season.

Its obvious Ishan has targets and its good too see the club liasing with fans. I was under the impression the meeting would involve 4-5 maximum, but they have increased it to around 8-9, one head from each main group for ther purpose of the meeting.

Could fans make points in this thread, ideas that you would like implementing. Its really an ideas meeting

Can I please make it clear Amit and Ishan's remit is totally focused on making it better for the fans, the matchday experience and encouraging to bring supporters back and focus on the current fanbase to ensure they are as happy as they can be. Nothing relating to players, signings, or other board members will be discussed.

Can you please summise what 'fans groups' will be represented?

i.e if WATRB are classed as a fans group then does that mean LFW, Dot.Org & QPRReport are as well?

I personally think the invitation should be extended to Dot.Org if it hasn't already, I would consider them a fans group just as much as WATRB.

a gesture of goodwill from the club for those who paid the same price as the premium seats but sat in the wings in the upper loft because we've always sat there would be a start, i wrote a letter to Ali Russell at the time to explain the gold price for the wings was`unfair and the patronising git wrote back telling me there were cheaper options, i've been in the same seat for over 10 years,

Pete, am a platinum seat holder and would like to start taking one of my kids along with me next season, however, I don't want to have to move to another part of the ground to get reduced price tickets for my child.

In short, I am asking for concessionary tickets to be made availalable in all parts of the ground.

                  Hope that makes sense.

Also, would like to think that QPR fans give a lot to the local economy in Shepherd's Bush. How about the club coming to agreements with some of these local businesses to provide discounts to QPR fans upon presentation of a season ticket?

Ask the players what they respond to from the crowd?

SM had a great interview with GP recently. What about giving fans who win a lottery the chance to interview players and to publish it on message boards.

Get home the message that the fans expect players to recognise their support.

Come up with more initiatives around "We Are QPR" that include all sections of the community. (When we sing "We Are QPR" it will have even more meaning)

What about a refund to season ticket holders based on average attendance. Some way to incentivise someone to 'Bring a Friend'. How about "Free hotdog and a beer if you bring a mate"

It also strikes me that there are a lot of QPR fans who are high powered executives with lots of business savvy who could add something in a non-exec capacity to the board. I know the Mittals et al are rich, it doesn't make all of them gurus. They should make more of the expertise available to them from the fanbase....an advisory board?

Fans' "Player of the Month Award" YouTube Video

Concessions if you go and support the Reserves.

Win a Sunday Lunch at home with Man of the Match. (Might be a disincentive for the players!)

I know its been banded round on here but the possibility of opening up the school end to be another home section and moving the away fans into the corner of Ellerslie maybe? As per Nodge's comments wouldnt b that unfeasable plus you will have Rrrr's on all 4 sides of the ground!

Or if this not possible, moving family area to ER adjacent to School End.

Or opening up School End Lower to family.

Stop the leaks coming directly from board members / senior members of the club. You won't stoip every titbit coming out, but prominent staff within the club should NOT be dangling bits of info. in front of people who won't keep it to themselves. In short, plug the leaks that have blighted the club over the last five years or so.

Keep professional, which means engaging with the fans when you need to and keeping counsel when you need to. It may seem contradictory, but this is because the balance is hard to find - finding it has to be the club's main task.

I have not had a season ticket for years due to being in the father to yound child phase of my life, but the 'savings' offered to ST holders over the last couple of years have been laughable. seven or eight games free over the price of walk ups sounds about right.

Stick with a manager please - the club needs stability and that is what must be offered.

Details on how the clubs debt is going to be dealt with. Whilst I appreciate that the owners own the club and this is their business, the fact that THEY are choosing to 'spend' the money on the club, means that they should cover any shortfall. It may sound ungrateful, but saddling the club with increasing debt to try to achieve the promised land is, well, just not right. I am sure that if we got to the Premier League and the club was sold on, the owners would get their return. However, if it doesn't and the owners choose to move on, I would hope that the product on offer is a solvent club, not one saddled with un reasonable debt.

Oh, and further to that, PLEASE, don't just come out with a statement along the lines of 'you only spend £20 and therefore do not need to know' - as fans, we invest so much more than just money into the club...

Remove all traces of the Boutique era - even now, when we are out of it, I still shudder at the magnitidue of Briatore's incompetence. The fact that someone like him has created the lifestyle he has with the obvious lack of awareness he has sticks right in the back of my throat. The fact that he almost killed my club is just cause for removing that abysmal badge and Hull City's Spark mascot...

Season ticket prices. Other teams are paying around £120 for season tickets as students, I know ours are a lot higher.

We should be saving around 8 games if buying a season ticket holder.

Are currect season ticket holders going to be rewarded, as they have been punished this year (various ticket offers).

Abolish the gold/silver ****. Match day tickets should be around £22.

Make middle of ellerslie and SA family, make the loft cheaper, get it rocking again - sort the stewarding out!

Make the food and drink cheaper.

I love the fact they are doing this though! Hopefully they will stick to what they say. Must admit, getting very excited for next year.
