He is a proven goal scorer at this level and at his best is better than anything we currently have including Simpson (that's not to say Jay wont be better in a few years). BUT the question is when he is released how will he cope mentally? getting abuse from fans and potential dislike from team mates. Then how will he cope physically after being out the game for that period of time? I would imagen he already has quite a few issues mentally and physically and when you stack those up against his ability I'm afraid he is not worth the risk. IF he was able to put it all behind him and was fit and ready to go then it would just be a question or morality which as we all know doesn't mean anything in today's game. At least John Terry would have a mate he can knock about with I suppose...............

Gl you never broke the law before fella?
Don't forget, it happened at night, most learners learn to drive in daylight hours.
To be honest, I have not read anything about how the accident happened, but it could be that he made some errors of judgement leading up to the crash and wasn't skilled or experienced enough to avoid the collision with the bus.
