    it's a no brainer

    drop prices to £10
then review season tkt holders prices for next season...i think a minimum £100 off would boost sales...
cos once we are in, then its beer and food money etc....

It's all about the prices! Lower them and the ground will fill every week.

          £15 adult
          £10 young adult/oap
          £5 kids (10-15 years)
          £0 under 10s

it's all about being a family club then make it affordable for the whole family

Thought the title of the thread was "what do we need to do to fill out loftus road?"

not "what do we need to do to be fiancially prudent?"

lower ticket prices by £5 and get 14,000 a week lower them by £10 and let under 10s in free and we'd get 18,000/19,000.

Ticket prices may come down a bit but not by a huge amount I reckon.
I think that good results will ensure a full ground in time, along with the progress off the pitch which I expect to see under the new ownership regime.
People are still a bit wary, but once fans start to feel more part of the club again, instead of being disenfranchised by Briatores Barmy Boutiquism, they will return.

I have said before, make the advertising pay a contribution towards ticket prices.
Let's say we sell a specific area of the grounds advertising revenue is to be put towards subsidising ticket prices. Not hard that one and not hard to even accomplish. We make a nice large screen or similar and sell advertising time to build up funds, then once the funds start to be seen from the advertising next seasons prices can be set lower.
Would be giving something back to the fans and help filling LR by reducing the cost of seeing the R's play, bringing in future young R's fans from local areas.

I believe this is a real possibility, some investment required but that could be paid for initially by the advertising and then contribute to the ST prices and the fans. Be open about how the fund raising is going during the season and then we can all see the benefit of the prices for next season coming down.

lower season tickets by a minimum of £200 that should get us around the maximum we can have (around 12,00) but keep the walk up tickets the same price, makes getting a ST worth while

get rid of all the price bands

make the "Loft" the singing end

no disrespect but do you suggest the club go back and make the same mistakes that have been made in the past?

Do you honestly think the mittals will take the hit in the pocket if we lower the prices by £5-£10 a game

doesnt make any sense, all about opinions but we cant start giving tickets away for next to nothing, we would end up losing money week in week out. is that what you want?

not exactly raking it in now, are we

think the question was "what would fill LR"

as long as the ground is packed week in week out, then it'll be all good in the long run, much better then 6,000 empty seats every week, wouldn't you say!

What would advertisers want to put their money in, a club which has no TV coverage and only 10K fans each week or a stadium full and people queuing for a ticket?

More people = more attractive investment for advertisers = more revenue and publicity for the club, and this could mean cheaper tickets for fans turning up if they subsidised ticket prices with a percentage of the advertising revenue.

Dream world I know but I do think a clever business could pull it off. Look at what offer you see in high streets to attract people in and there's silly money in football, if only it was managed properly.

I think to expect the club to charge £10 is way off the mark.

Its an entertainment business, we run promotions for a tenner and it never really increases the crowd.

Would great to set a precedent, but £10 is way too low and to expect better players in as well, is asking for too much.

Even 5 years ago we were not £10 a ticket
