"It started badly with Ched Evans going off with a broken collarbone, and then Jamie Ward went off with a hamstring and also Lee Williamson with a hamstring.
"It's never easy at the best of times. That is seven or eight players out with injuries in a squad of 21, 22, so you can see why we have got a problem.
The omens are good for us, considering the way our sqaud has started to perform under the new regime!
