Clearly, the debt has been re-financed, which I might add is in accordance with what the Orange Donut said would happen.
Yep, I call it buying money. A cool £425,000 each a year interest for Amit and Flavio which no bank can match. (8.5% on £10,000,000)

I don't disagree at all. But what I don't understand is why it's such a big problem.

The facts are; we've got uber rich dudes in charge of our club, and without their backing, we'd be donald ducked.

This applies to almost all Football Clubs (not saying I agree with it) but......... reasonably rich guys buy a club (e.g. Portsmouth, Wet Spam or loads of others) sorts out the debt, possibly out of an administration, and then realises that all the club is, is a thumping great big hole in the ground which swallows up cash; something that they are not rich enough to keep up with. - Result = Mysery.

So, do I want my club to make a profit and have no debt? yes, will it happen? no.

So, alternatively, I'll very, very happily settle for what is probably the richest board in the whole WORLD owning my club.............. AND, I won't stand by and let people (not suggesting you are one of them at all) have a pop without challenge by me!

This is my honest opinion, and is not meant in any hostile way to you or anyone else

Debt from 31.5.08 to 31.5.09 increased by £6,072,000. Clearly not good, but there's no denying that some good things have come out of it.

e.g. Still have very rich backers; Flab is taking a back seat; we attracted better players (I know, all the arguements + and -); Amit is now in charge, and making all of the right noises; great managerial appointment with boards sunction to be allowed to get on with it etc.

                  Swerved?

It seems that everyone associated with the club at board level of late, including the Mittals seem to respect and appreciate GP. Again, I am, and never have been a follower, but I've never been against him.

He must be doing something right.

Just the sort of response you expect from someone who has their mind made up. Don't get me wrong, Pete is the same...just on the pro-side.

I sincerely doubt the Mittals want a 'yes man' as opposed to a man who they trust to run their club. Every story has more than one side and many of you seem to base your logics on a few supporters bad experiences, and hatred for the man.

He's done me no wrong, nor right. I don't for a second believehe is intentially trying to ruin the club. There is no eveidence of that. Just a rather large band wagon of followers who hate GP and use Pete as another outlet.

Dont forget Ali bleeding Russell, I think he is as useless as GP and the pair of them are responsible for our demise. Flavio, GP and Russel all need to move on so we can start again. It would stop all this ballackx thats for sure and if I ran a company and had two employes causing so much bad feelings with my customers, they would be gone.
