I think you need to take Gianni's advice and provide the information you've made up and take it down to the club to show the Mittal's, why is that so hard to do if it's the truth?

It's all talk talk talk but never a facts and if it's the truth this person will not lose their job will they?

Nice Interview SM..But like with the Jnet radio Q+ A last night - couple of questions - i must be an idiot or been on the moon lately ..but...

Why you?Why did Gianni take time out to allow you to do this interview?Do you think he chose you for a reason?Did you feel he worked you or vice versa?

Also - following your interview - there was the Q+A on this jnet radio(sorry - i have no idea who they are) and it was promoted on this website.

Do you not think in hindsight, that. with this MB being very pro Gianni - it was a safe option on both interviews?

With all the problems this club has had and with all the bad feelings between the board and the fans - do you not think that rather than the above venues - that a general fans Q+A- interviews with a rather more.....broader fan representation would have been better?

I think Spencer probably means the creators/owners of this board, (ie: yourself) rather than the majority of its readers.

That's the perception anyway.

A bit like the fuss over "leaks".

You take it as a dig at this site, and debates spring up about seperate "Rumour Forums" etc... but the problem people have is the source of the leaks, and why you are SEEN as a mouthpiece for GP, and a vehicle for him, etc...

I say "SEEN", because I really wouldn't know about that stuff, but it's the accusation that is often levelled at yourself and GP. And it's more a dig at him, than this website.

Whether that's a fair critisim of The Club/GP?? I really wouldn't even pretend to know that.

As for all the anti GP mob, what exactly are you trying to achieve?

I'm man enough to admit I have been very openly against GP over the last couple of seasons. I am also somebody who has a healthy amount of respect for somebody who can admit when they have made a mistake and learns lessons from those mistakes moving forward.

For me the one thing that comes accross in this interview is that Gianni cares about the club. He's know's there have been mistakes made and acknowledges a few of them in the interview (i.e. the Gino Padula incident and the contracts given to Hall and Agyemang), he also indicated his desire to put these mistakes right moving forward.

We have a new board in place and the club is in the best position at board room level that it has been in many years. The new board have made the decision to keep GP on board, so let's get behind the club as a whole and get back to supporting our football club.

I'm just amazed that anyone can be won over by an interview with a man who lied repeatedly in a court of law (not a dig at you Tarbie but in general) - ironically some of SM's interview contradicts his very own comments in court - but you know what? I really can't be arsed to sit down and disect it all word for word there will be others who will do.

There is a fine line between reality and fantasy for some people and serial bull****ters quite often end up distorting the story so often that the bull**** becomes reality in their own mind.

Both interviews should be taken with a HUGE pinch of salt. They won't convince the sceptics and the pro lobby will use them as a beating stick against the anti's but glancing around the other boards it does seem that the majority of the beating stick brigade are on here. Oh well more than ever I am convinced on one thing - until he goes there is very little chance of a united fanbase and despite the fact that he should have been given the tintac for his performance as DOF, that is reason enough for him to go.

Best thing to come out of last night, was that he gave the fans a close feel to the club, something we have been lacking for years. You don't have to like the guy, but fans would have been encouraged on what they heard.
