Thanks SM for your time and effort in seeing this through.

I can only echo the congratulations and appreciation of the vast majority of others' views so far, whilst disassociating myself with any flak you may get.

Thanks for posting the interview. However, I will continue to take everything Paladini says with a large pinch of salt. One or two things strike me immediately - why can't he talk about the interest free loan he has been given? There really cannot be any "legal requirement" preventing that. Also, Bent taking a pay cut to come to us is plainly rubbish. The player is contracted to Birmingham who are legally bound to pay him the contracted salary whether he is out on loan or not. We may pay Birmingham some money for his "services" but Bent cannot lose money. I'm afraid that Gianni tends to exaggerate, make some things up and tell you what you want to hear. He has proven to be incompetant and on the losses he has caused the Club alone he should go now. The longer he stays, the more likely he is to start to undermine the manager one way or another - he just can't resist sticking his nose in. That will cause a bustup with Warnock and we'll be back to square one. I've no doubt he is a huge fan of the Club, but that's not always a good thing when you need to make difficult decisions and he allows that to cloud his judgement far too often.

What baffles me is how easily some fans are hoodwinked by this man. We have been through the worst period in recent times. We've been laughed at by our mates, dubbed a 'circus' and joke club, endured managers coming and going bi monthly, false promises, spin, inflated prices, **** football (with the exception of the magilton thrashings).. but all is forgotten because flavio has moved aside... What about Gianni? how comes he slides under the radar??

So what exactly did this role involve?

My main activities were to keep Flavio informed of everything that was happening at the club. All owners of football clubs want to know what is happening, and this was no different. I helped with bringing in players alongside the manager, we would identify a player and watch them together. I would deal with the player’s contracts. I was also involved with helping with a couple of other sponsorship deals.

I think they are trying to embrace all mediums, hence the radio show in a bit

Very wll scripted interview that allows him to be made out as a good guy...wouldnt expect anything else to be honest. Why no question about him slagging off managers to fans on a coach?.Passing on dud info for QBP?The fact he was involved in creating the huge debts that nearly finished the club off?.

Agree mate, this is another beauty

Just changing the subject slightly Gianni, I presume you are no longer DOF?

No there is no director of football anymore. I am chairman of QPR, this is all. I resigned from this position a couple of weeks ago now. We learned from the mistakes that we have made, and they have now been rectified, and we can push on and move forward. This is the best thing for QPR.

Shouldnt that read....The board have learned from the mistakes I made and subsequently removed me from the dof position
