  • Did Warnock salute the wrong end ?

When he was introduced to the crowd, he clapped and waved etc but really made an effort to West Brom fans in the away and punched his fist in the air while facing them, then went to sit in the dugout ?

Does he have a spat with West Brom fans and was winding them up or was it a mistake. PS: Cant wait to see if he can gets the team kicking on again tomorrow.

He definately was taunting them. There was the battle of Bramall Lane a few years back. Sheff Utd had three players sent off and then after using all their subs were reduced to seven men due to an injuriy. They then got another 'injury', and were reduced to six men, thus forcing the game to be abandoned with West Borm winning.
So Neil is not their favourite person.

Why the inverted commas for 'injury'? Neither of those two players played again that season due to the injuries sustained.

Did n't realise that. It was widely assumed at the time Warnock was pulling a fast one.
