Totally agree Morris, I have rated Simpson all season but on Saturday there seemed to be something different about his game. He seemed to be using his physical strength more and closing down even quicker. To summise the lad looked fitter, more alert than usual and I'd like to think it coincides with Warnocks arrival.
The lad has earned the coveted No. 9 shirt without a doubt, he is a clinical finisher, 1 in 2 striker and I think he'll be close to 20 league goals by the end of the season.
I see many posters banging on about signing Palace players but IMO our priorirty should first be securing the services of Simpson along with Taarabt.Last edited by W12_Ranger; 08-03-2010, 12:07 PM.

I seriously couldn't give a monkeys about Taarabt. Simpson is a player I'd love to sign, but unless Taarabt sorts his selfishness out, I wouldn't bother.
That said, he was far more inclined to pass on Saturday...Then again, Hill and Ikeme both had good games, so I'll wait and see.Your mum would love me...

Chris I told you Warnock would get the best out of the players.
He even started your boy adel so you really need to assess your opinion on him.
Great result against a side that will probably be in the premier next season.
However I am sure your be pleased to be proven wrong on this occasion.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I think any player will benefit in a team that has a manager at the helm for longer than 2 months.
Having said that - Simpson and faurlin for me have been our best players this season.faurlin especially(when i have seen him play)has got better as the season goes on.And when you think young lad- new country/style of football/upheavel etc etc...would have been easy to hide.

QPR should make a bid to sign Simpson, and I think Warnock will do so. Whether Arsenal want to sell him or Simpson wants to join QPR are the obstacles.
However, if neither club or player wants to do a permanent deal, I think the least QPR should try, is to get him back for another season, provided QPR stay in the CCC.Last edited by stanistheman; 08-03-2010, 05:32 PM.
