    this made me laugh

QPR’ new boss Neil Warnock was close to a major blunder before a ball was kicked. He was forced to change his lineup at the last minute after a great spot from striker Marcus Bent.

Just goes to show how mad it is to have a squad where not all the players, even if fit, are available for selection.

fair play to bent for that.
also would hope the last line of that article is true...i think volz could be a good signing.

Well done to Bent for spotting this error and for me, he deserves a win bonus, even though not part of the matchday squad. He did just as much as anyone else to get the 3 points - (if he hadn't said this to Warnock, QPR would have had 3 points docked).

However, someone else should have spotted this and said something. For me, this should have been Captain Marvel!, Leigertwood. He is a QPR player and has been there longer than anyone else apart from Rowlands and Cook who were not in the squad.

I would hope this is slightly exagerated by saying "last minute" for the benefit of the article, but if not, this is seriously worrying.

Given that for the last 2 years we have continuously signed numerous amounts of loans, you would hope there would be someone within the management structure (GP?) stating the obvious regards the rules around this and identifying for the many new managers, exactly who is on loan!!

I'm sure it would have been noticed by many, but Bent was the first to point it out.
              And he'd know about it.

Bit harsh to have a go at Leigertwood about it!
