  • Sat next to Grandad yesterday - positive conversation with Amit

You know, the one in the Sombrero in A Block.

He said that he had been speaking to Amit just before the game and as a result he was absolutley buzzing. Wouldn't go into specifics but just kept saying that we should expect lots of positive changes and the future is very exciting. (anyone know him well enough to find out more?)

He (Grandad) then set about winding up the West Brom supporters for the next 90 minutes which all started as good natured banter but the Baggies fans turned a bit ugly when we scored the third!!!! This was quality and very entertaining.

Grandad, who ive only had the pleasure of chatting to very very briefly once before, is a frigging LEGEND.

I know Amit and Gianni have a heck of a lot of time for him

His trumpet didn't annoy me but it was clearly aggrivating some of the WBA fans as he managed to sabotage some of their attempts to get a song going!!!

        he is a top man

I know Ben (grandad) quite well from my time sitting next to him with ST near front of A Block where he sits. I'll try and get some more out of him on Tuesday if I see him

In fairness Old Hoop I applaude 'Grandads' stance on keeping the specifics to himself, I doubt he will running to a MB to spill the beans.
