dont no what kicking you were watching but he can kick it right up the other end of the pitch no probs

yeah great, he can kick it far. wow. every keeper should be able to do that. the fact is, even though he kicks it far, i can count on 1 hand the number of times he has picked out a rangers player since he arrived.

Made two excellent saves today, but before today I can't actually remember seeing him make a decent save! Kicking is inconsistent to say the least, kicks it too high up in the air for a start, so getting it in the right direction is a problem.
Deffo best performance so far,hope he can keep it up!

Thought he was much improved, it was great when they had quite a few corners at the end, and he came and collected 95% of them....... at the time my finger nails were taking a pounding!

Have we all forgot the soft goals Cerny has allowed this season and the complaints he dont come for crosses (Ipswich goal kick to there player which resulted in a goal is an example) My Spurs mate says Cerny was known for throwing the ball in at Spurs as well.

I rate and like Cerny but his form meant he had to be dropped and at the current time dont think Ikeme has done anything to see that reversed

I think consistency is key to being a top class goal keeper and it would appear that Ikeme is talented but so far has not shown any consistency which is obviously a worry.

As for Cerny, something is definitely is not right there. I have heard 2 stories, the first being that he has a chronic back complaint which is seriously limiting his ability to train and play. Not sure that makes a lot of sense as if this was the case why is he on the bench every week and why have we loaned Elvis Putnins out?

The second story (call it a conspiracy theory if you like) is that if we play Cerny again it will trigger some sort of clause that involves us offering him a new contract or paying an additional payment.

Either way I think we need to sign a couple of keepers in the Summer!

Im not eating my words atall, and i was 100% one of the people slagging him off!

His kicking and distribution is absolutely shocking! He played well yesterday fair play to him but one decent performance wont over shadow his other awful displays since he has been a QPR player.

If he continues with good form then i will be more than happy to take my words back but imo he still has alot to prove!

I hold my hands up have not been a fan of his but he did play very well yesterday but lets hope he continues to shine. His kicking was much better and his handling was secure. Have to say when you are winning the confidence comes flooding back and all looked well.

Ikeme had a poor game at Forest, thats been about it.

Since then he has been blamed for alomst every goal, yet Gorkks positioning has been woeful, yet no-one can question it, because he is one of ours.

Ikeme had a good game against WBA, to add to few more.

He is **** end of imo. He wont sign for us in the summer and we will get a new keeper in! 100% stand by that happening.

Why? Because he is useless and unfortunatly we are stuck with him so might aswell get our use.

Id quite firmly rather have cerny in goal. He is better than ikeme, and seeing as Cerny isnt the most amazing name no pete that is not why i would rather have Cerny in goal.

Only good game I have seen him play was yesterday, I also don't recall him getting blamed for every single goal, only the ones he has been at fault with so thats a grosss exaggeration.

All that aside my comment was actually directed at what you posted not Ikeme's performance. You are actually suggesting that because the lads name is 'Ikeme' he is automatically at a disadvantage which quite frankly is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard.

I'd like to think our supporters are a little more intelligent than that, you really do speak down to your fellow R's at times.

End of the day he is still a s.hite goalkeeper and one good performance doesn't make up for it, why do you think he is Wolves 4th choice.
