  • WBA won't relish playing us

Admittedly we have had a few change of managers this year but they won't relish playing us with a quality new manager in place, who has had 5 days with his new squad, in a hopefully rocking HQ.

Wasn't it the same when we played them away....first game for Gallen & Birchham when they almost pulled it off, arguably one of the best performances of the season, often overlooked 'cos we didn't score four.

We threw that game away by not running down the clock

As much as I want to agree, I wouldn't expect it to happen over night. The squad is on a terrible run and will need a little more that a confidence boost.

as i said in another thread.. depends on the players reaction to warnock..could go right for us or could go totally wrong.

The good thing is players will be playing for their future

The bad thing, not sure they are good enough to get a result. Its up to Warnock and the boys to prove me wrong. Lack of confidence will be a big factor and still think we have not been the same since two influential players like Mahon and Rowlands have been injured. We have missed their steel (pardon the pun) in midfield.

I'd go against the grain and play Bent instead of German, as we could be putting too much on the kids shoulders too soon

It's till the same squad who lost at home To Scunny and Leicester. Got battered away at Watford.

We're too Jekel and Hyde to make a call.

There can only be one reaction from the players or they are out and knowing he is here for the long haul, they wiil react to keep a place in a team, that might just be going somewhere.

Also, Ben Watson and Warnock have spelt it out and if the players think they no better, they will be history.

BW: “He’s got both sides to him. If you put it in for him on the pitch then he won’t have a problem. If you don’t then you have a problem.

Do the players really believe they can win a game of football that is the big question.
We are on a run of 4pts from 9 games. It even makes Peterboroughs record over those 9 games look half decent. This is a massive game for us can the players cope with that pressure. Signs over the last 15 games would suggest not. Warnock is a great manager and will know how to work on confidence but unfortunately Rome wasn't built in a day and for a club struggling I think the game against Plymouth is a game we HAVE to go into believing we can win and a draw or a win against the baggies will go a very long way to setting us up nicely for tues.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Would like to think the baggies will think "####, Warnock's side,we're in for a game here!"
Also, the feelgood buzz that will be in Loftus Rd maybe will get across to the players and their performance would show that! (fingers crossed!)
I came here to chew gum and kick ass,and I'm all outta gum!

True enough mate, Just feel new manager syndrome might work for us as it did against them earlier in the season, and i mean a Proper manager this time not a hart/harford
