Once we get promoted, like you, I dont think Colin's the man for the job, but I dont think the board are thinking that far ahead. We can worry about playing the sexy football in the finest QPR traditions when we get to the promised land.@chrisrobson9

Thank you stan for a sensible anwser. Guess your right actually.
That was actualy a very good answer.
QPR need a manager who knows how to scrap for points to climb up the table, and then win promotion within the next few seasons.
Someone on here suggested the top 3 sides all play good football.
Newcastle have often played boring, negative football and scraped a number of 1-0 and 2-1 wins. That is hardly good entertaining stuff. And how many games have Forest drawn 0-0 or 1-1 draws and 1-0 wins have they had?
I'd be delighted if Warnock can produce a side that can win 6 games this season either 1-0 or 2-1.
And follow that up with a large number of similar wins next season.
If QPR ever get back to the Prem League, perhaps we can then look forward to appointing a manager who can put together a side playing good attractive football and at least maintain a top half position like Gerry Francis did.
Until the, bring on the string of 1 goal wins.
