i would say round it up to 10million.

as for the clearout, i would keep vine on and possibly send him out on loan to regain fitness and confidence. imo vine when he is on form is a quality player, its just that he has struggled to regain fitness and confidence since the injury.

Great post Mutley which spells out why we're in such a dire position currently and need root and branch surgery this summer which ain't gonna be cheap.

It depends. The problem is the players needed to get you out of the division are not the players that keep you in the prem. I think some older experienced players that have a couple of seasons left would be the choice unless you can pick up a major tallent who's willing to drop down a division. You low to average player we could get hold of will not be the answer long term.

I would seriously consider a season ticket if we signed new keeper, 2 new full backs, a centre half, centre midfielder and 2 new forwards..... apart from that.....

Absolutly agree pete, you dont lose class.......have to give the guy another close season....great player for us in the past, some people have very short memories and little patience.
              They seek him here.................

laughable. so you're saying that after all the millions we have already spent (in the region of £10m on players since fatboy and co walked through the door) you want to spend another £8m just to get us into the play-offs? are you trying to bankrupt the club?

with the money we have already spent we should be challening for automatic promotion. the reasons why we are not are well-known and obvious.

realistically, we should be spending as little money as possible and see how we go, if we are going to operate within the limits of the size of the club. unless, of course, mittall dips into his own personal fortune rather than loan rangers the cash, in which case the sky's the limit.

I dont want QPR to live within there means I want us to chase the dream like Pompey, Leeds, Luton and Chesterfield.

If going out of business 5 years down the road means that we would of won the FA cup and rubbed shoulders with the likes of Real Madrid, Milan, and Wigan have an FA Cup trophy in the Cabinet (alongside the 1967 league Cup the Copa Ibiza and London Masters five a side Champions 2009) then so be it.

Live the dream, by the way I've booked you a place on the stag coach to Brentford so make sure you bring £25 additional sheets with you Saturday on top of your usual pub budget of a tenner and a packet of old holborn backy.

If QPR stay up and drop the ST prices and include cup ties as part of it, I will buy one.

As for a budget. How much will it cost to buy Simpson, Hooper, ****tu, Clyne, Speroni, Heaton, a right winger, a left back etc?

From the current squad, excluding the loanees, I would sell, release or pay off; Cerny, Ramage, Borrowdale, Hall, Stewart, Ephraim, Alberti, Agyemang, Pellicori, Helguson and not renew Quashie's deal.

Leigertwood is also another player I would consider selling to raise some funds for new players. I don't think he is a leader, nor do I think he will imprive his ball control or passing ability, although Warnock may be able to get the best out of him, I think he did ok for him at Sheff U.

                    In/Out

                    Heaton & Speroni or Basso/Cerny
                    Clyne/Ramage
                    A.N. Other/Borrowdale
                    ****tu, A.N. Other/Stewart, Hall
Simpson, Hooper, Lee/ Agyemang, Helguson, Pellicori,
                    Ambrose/Leigertwood, Quashie
                    A.N. Others/Alberti, Ephraim

                      You're right there.

I would send Vine out on loan to a club in Denmark, Sweden Norway etc.

The season is about to start over in those countries and Vine could play from now and throughout pre-season regaining his form, fitness and confidence, so that he can return to QPR in August 2010 back to his best form.
