Realistic Transfer Budget for Warnock

Assuming we stay up of course.

I think it's clear that the club do have some good players but we really could do with adding a bit of quality in pretty much everty position.

Forwards win you matches and get you out of this division you need a few of them.

Between 6-8 million for us to be relaistic play off contenders.

spot on funky.would be the amount id hope for.forest spent that kind of money on proven championship players and are reaping the reawards.i think we do have players are that more than good enough just the circus surrounding the club has affected them and if we stay up with a few decent additions we could come back strong next season.

get in the summer -

heaton or speroni, ****tu, two full backs (clyne + one more), ambrose, stock, hooper, simpson and stead.

if possible clear out:
vine, agyemang, hall, helguson, leigertwood, quashie + all the loans (minus simpson)

i'd be surprised if clyne came to us but i wouldn't mind ryan bertrand from chelsea on a season loan as an alternative.

i agree some wheeling and dealing and gamble will need to be made.. but it is clear we need to at least spend 3-4m on some quality.. and then anything on top be it loan or free or cheap will be a gamble..

i dont expect us to go out and get 5 quality players for 5-8mil. would be nice but i reckon we can still achieve promotion with 3/4 additions in the right area's.

id turn up if we spent £5 or 50 million.i seriously think with around 6-8 million we could but at leat 4-5 proven championship players

I'd love to see us sign Jay Simpson his attitude has been first class this year and he would be my player of the season.

Be interesting to see who Neil wants to bring in over the summer, there are players that are available that could do a job.

I'd have a look at the Jason Roberts at Blackburn, Blake at Wolves, and if possible I'd like to see us sign Chopra from cash strapped Cardiff.

jay simpson would be my 1st signing.id love someone like jason roberts to come here would be an excellent signing as would blake but wolves will be getting relegated from the prem so i cant see them letting him go and chopra hates us so cnt see him coming here.but these are the kind of players we should be looking to get.

So theres possibly 9 players from the squad.

Id be amazed if Quashie is kept, so thats 10.
