Magic, if salaries are not going to change then i am up for increased mach day prices. To stop that hitting those that can only attend 5-6 games or season, maybe look at expanding the bundle ticket idea, I wholeheartedly agree that there should be a benefit for season tickets as we are the ones that give an upfront investment to the club.

Why does last year not matter, as that's when they got promoted, which is whweak thought we are trying to do and they gave 000's of ST's away. They are a well run club and maybe you should get Russell to check out their business model, as his head up his asre model ain't working.

        Rewarding loyal supporters, YES.

But the problem the club faces, is that in order to give that perceived value to ST holders, then walk up prices need to be higher. If this were to happen, then it is more difficult in the short term to attract new fans.

There is one way around this that I can think of, however I doubt it would be acceptable to those who complain the loudest.

I reckon that the adult prices should be frozen but if you want to take the kids they should be 100 quid season tickets, we got the extra seats to accomodate this and this will get a new generation of supporters. Or, what about guaranteeing your seat but direct debit a week before each game?

You are not suggesting it makes good business sense to give thousands of ST's away are you ? They can't afford any players as a result. Does not sound too clever to me.

With all respect Paul, I do think all your suggestions are taking for granted that our rich owners will put their hands in their pockets to fund teh Burnley model.

Again, Burnley have a bigger fanbase than us.

Also, if we were running out of money every season when we only had the likes of Palmer to pay does that not suggest to you, that given the attendance we were getting, that we were not charging enough.

We need to stop taking our owners for granted and accept responsibility as fans for running our club on a sound financial footing. If we don't want to pay the going rate, then why should anyone dip their hand in their pockets.

            Only fair don't you think.

It is simply better value not to get a ST, a great strategy that one.

I thought the real problem was s/tickets were sold on the premis of a greater match day experience. Had this have happened nobody would have minded paying more. The problem was this didnt happen. We have been served up rubbish.

Kron, agree with better incentives for bringing children.

Well I am sure Palace fans would happily be served up rubbish to maintain their Championship status at this moment in time.

Besides, at times, I have seen some great games at Loftus Road in recent years (far better than the standard I watched than in the season we won the league below)

So you think Palace fans would be happy to cough up more money to watch drivel, just to keep their CCC standing? Are you from the same planet Mr Conners!

It is basic business rules that should apply here. You cannot increase your prices and offer a worse product. Are you crazy? This is exactly why we are in this mess because of people with your attitude to business. Just because you have the captive audience of football fans doesnt mean you can rip them off week after week. Sorry mate but the proof is the pudding.

FB has hung up his boots, the club lost even more money than they were losing before. The fans are divided. We have players on contracts that shoudn't be. We have an unbalanced squad. A catalogue of PR disasters. A reputation in tatters. But you say the fellow did a good job and was good for QPR. Yeah right mate. You carry on preaching nonsense.

Palace's situation is from their own making and quite honestly nothing to do with us. I actually do not care about any other club. QPR is my club and I have enough problems worrying about them. I suggest you do the same.

Not saying there have not been issues, but bar the past 2-3 months we have most definitely been watching better football at Loftus Road.

As usual, Rangers fans fans look for a scapegoat, but the facts tell you that we are unable to run our own club because we are not willing to pay the true cost of running a club our size, yet we are happy to criticise someone that is prepared to take up the challenge. We did it to Chris Wright and now it is Briatore.

All becoming far too boring for me.

The answer lies in my original post.

Mr Lofty, besides I have never said that he was good for QPR. If you can tell me where I have said that then I will apologise.

I appreciate the fact that we have not gone into administration under his stewardship and I have also said he had to move on. Despite saying that, i was not happy for him to be moved on until we had a replacement as we could quite clearly no run ourselves as we all think we are paying too much already.
