  • Palace as feeder club

If we sign Warnock and he brings their best players with him it will really take us back to probably my most exciting time as an Rs fan when Venners came over with all those Palace players to create a brilliant team at Loftus Rd, thus arguably making us the real "team of the eighties". Remember when we thought he had taken just about everyone we cd bar the cleaning staff - even Tony Sealy, just because we could - on transfer deadline day Venners nipped in to bring back "6ft 2, eyes of blue", one of my favourite Rangers players, making me the happiest I think I've ever been over a signing.

Anyway, so as Palace a) produce lots of excellent players for proper football clubs to exploit and b) have about as much ready cash as a wino on his way out of odbins, why not propose that Palace become our official feeder club, much as Crewe were for a while to Liverpool? They can give us Ambrose, Sprironi etc and we can loan them Agyman and all our left overs, as well as some youngsters like Balanta who might benefit from a year's first team football trotting about in league one next season.

Prob better to keep this idea to ourselves just now as having looked at the extraordinary over-reaction to an actually very friendly post from an R on their board we don't want anyone making such a suggestion to them as they are clearly not v well at the moment and it might just send them over the edge, and we wdnt want that now wd we...

Best to keep that thought to yourself

      Palar$e fans would flip
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO
