  • Warnock why?

Well luvvies people are jumping up and down, why?

Any right thinking rangers fan wants to see a rangers team playing decent football but cant see it from colin. Long and direct, percentages back to pub football at QPR just what everyone wanted.

Every time he has brought a team to LR hes got stick from the fans, now hes the messia. Its going to get old very soon as he blames everyone from the ref to the programme seller for that corner in the 3rd minute which cost us the game. Holloway always blamed everyone else as well and that peeded plenty of people off pretty quickly.

FFSdesperate times cause for desperate measures and the fact that people are excited only confirms how sorry times have become under this current regime.

Before all the neg/pos/rose coloured spectacle wearing mob rally the call ask yourself if you would have wanted a bloke like Warnock a few years ago and if you really admired the aggresiveness/uglyness and cynacism of his teams when they visited HQ.

    No, thougt not.

To be honest I'm fairly sick of hearing how we have a great history of playing attractive football yet the reality is we,ve won f~~k all and have been on a down ward spiral for the past 15 years.

I just want to see my team play with passion, give their all for the badge and if it means sacrificing 'total' football in order to have a bit of success and maybe win a trophy then I can live with it .

I've supported my beloved hoops for 35 years so I've experienced the roller coaster that goes with following QPR and right now I just want to see success and I don't care what we have to do to achieve it!!

Hold on I thought Dowies and Sousas football was boring.

Weve gone from a fine vintage port to tescos own brand cola.

You couldnt make it up how desperate and fickle it all sounds.

Well said Maddix! This is a result business, nothing else. Playing attractive football is pure BS, we need points and that's it! NW is a manager who will NOT be pushed around by any chairman and if you're not up to his gameplan as a player - then you're sold or in the freezer. Applying NW makes the whole Leauge system know for sure who's in charge and that changes have been made within the club, this might change the plans for a few decent players who probably laughed at us under FB.

i would rather see us play crap football and win than play pretty football and lose.

Jimmy - I respect your viewpoint and maybe there was a time when I may have agreed with you. However on contemplating your feelings I'll tell you something and where I stand.

I dont know how old you are but the best football I have ever seen down the bush was the Venables era, I started going in 1980. The football was clinical, devastating and awsome. We had a team made from solid players without any prima-donas. A fantastic squad who played their hearts out for the shirt, fans and of course the manager. I loved my football then and became totally addicted to it. Funnily enough the player that epitomised the club then was a certain gary Waddock. No flair just 100% commitment every single game.

QPR at that time played the most efficient off-side trap you have ever seen. there was nothing pretty about the team at all. But I tell you what they were the most organised unit in the whole of the football league. That brand of football got us an FA Cup Final, won us the old Second Division and then got us European Football. Some people could have called it boring football. As we all know Terry then left and the rest is history.

Our great, great club is in such a mess we need a manager who can come in and shake the place up, organise the team and gain 'instant' respect from the players. We need to stablelise the club and set it off again on the right foot. We need experience mate, not a young guy with new ideas. That sort of leader can come in the future.

Right now I believe NW is the correct and probably best choice for us. The fact that he is 61 and wants to bow out in glory in a few years is perfect for us. Palace fans loved him, Sheff Utd fans loved him. Why? Because he creates a siege mentality and most importantly shows passion beyond the norm. He will only accept this from the players too. You just watch them react. Footballers just boil down to ordinary working men. They need strong leadership from a general and if they get it they will react.

You must be able to see that this is just what our club needs.

Warnock will give these players a kick up the a.rse, then he get rid in the wummer on the ones not pulling their weight.

Then he can get the best players from Palace and with a sensible budget, challenge for the Play offs next season.

Jimmy, you are right probably his last job, but he will want to go out on a high and wherever he has gone, has done well.

Best of all, no disputing he will bring in his own players
ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

I watched Rangers home and away during the TV days. I though the football at times was excellent. A finely tuned outfit that played at time scintilating, CREATIVE, one touch at times football. The 4-0 at Wolves was an amazing away day. It was not boring football by any means.

My point is we are taking NW for all the wrong reasons and out of sheer desperation.

Every argument is always about the result but have we sunk to such a mess that its going to revert to pub football and media loved soundbites.

TV took charge and we were 5th from bottom of Div 2. West Ham walked the league yet we beat them at home 3-0. Under TV we won the combination and the youth leagues with regular players coming through the ranks. A very very sad day when Jim Gregory refused to sell the club to TV. We would have been a real force in football in my opinion.

Venables and Harris were football people with great coaching and football brains which is im afraid something I cant see in NW.

All ####### and bite. You need some football ideas in that equation as well sometimes.
