    Nothing new today.
The latest, and clearest indication was this, yesterday:

And with a £1m compensation clause in Warnock's contract, Palace's administrator would be keen to get his hands on the money for cash-strapped Palace.

"Somebody told me this morning that they are in conversation shall we say," said Warnock.

"There is no way I am going to walk out on the club. If they can agree compensation then that's a different ball game".

If/when Rangers agree a compo fee with Palaces' administrators, he's ours. Simple.

So basically nothings agreed and given that Palace have several potential buyers why dont they just hold out a little longer and keep him - i get the feeling he would prefer to stay at palace

Harford till the end of the season - it is then!!!

I suppose a lot depends on our result today. If we win, then it buys us more time to play hard-ball, and stick with Harford a bit longer while we haggle the price.

If we lose, then it *might* hurry things along a bit.
I doubt that Warnock will say anything today, other than the sort of stuff he's been saying lately. ie: Not a lot.

I don't think we'll win today, and I think NW will be QPR manager by tuesday.

I don't think we'll win today and harford will remain manager - the longer this goes on the more likely he will stay at Palace

Surely even if he did bring players as part of the deal, they wouldn't be able to play until after the summer, unless there is some rule i don't know about.

They will do what they done with Borrowdale, agree a fee and the on loan until the end of the season and then sign permantley once the window opens.

Makes a joke of the tranfers rules realy

True, but the transfer window is a joke anyway, and deserves to be treated like one.

Serves no purpose, other than to screw the poorer clubs up. It hasn't exactly helped Pompey, Southend, Palace etc...

I agree it is all in favour of the big clubs, but then again when they started to increase the number of subs, that was in their favour too. As if your team is playing poorly instead of making 1 subs to change it you can now change 25% of your team. It also means that they can keep bigger squads happy, when in the old days, these players would filter down the tree.

All descions these days go one way, to make the big clubs bigger and the rich clubs richer.
