I had never seen German play before the Doncaster game - and have to say that the part of his game i was most impressed with was his heading ability. he must have won 99% of the headers - and could have had a hat trick, with one goal dissaolwed and one just over the bar. Is he always this good in the air, or were Doncaster midgets or something?

Half of being a good header of the ball is where you position yourself - ie where you plant your feet. I'm 6ft 4in and lame at it, but some good players (Niall Quinn for instance) know where the ball is going to drop out of the air and plant their feet there. It makes it so much harder for the defender not to foul you. Thought German showed glimpses of this.
Oh yes, and he knows when to jump too....

it wasnt just the fact that he could head the ball like u said 99% of the headers he went for he won
and the donny defence werent average size players they were bigger than german
he done very well to even get to most of them
