Would you be in favour of W,X in ER being the away section?
Err no thanks, I have a season ticket in W like many many others and I don't want to move, I have also been in both the upper and lower school ends and it is rubbish. Many many people don't want to sit behind the goal and I bet not one person who is in favour of this would sit there either.
How about filling the loft (which is morgue at the moment first)
mentioned this idea before.....most away fans get the worse deal at grounds so putting em in the er makes sense imho.....easy to escort out of ground without mingling with home fans and would make for a better atmosphere imho!
we gave away support a go at sitting in ellerslie with pompey one year
"The kids missed everything from Queens Park Rangers to Conkers".
London Pride has been handed down to us.
London Pride is a flower that's free.
London Pride means our own dear town to us,
And our pride it for ever will be.
I don't think they'd fill the school end with rangers to be honest. Struggling to fill the loft. I quite like the theory. My own preference would be for them to have the east paddock under A B C SAR so those of us sat there can relieve ourselves over the balcony during the match without needing a trip downstairs.
The real problem on atmosphere (apart from the obvoious one that we need to be doing better and filling the ground more) is what to do with the family enc. Not sure it is causal or coincidence but it has been the death of the loft putting it there. Not sure moving it will help now though. Would require the seats to be filled with those that want to jolly along and they've all moved now. [or worse you could create an Aresenal-esque "action-section"! Yuk] My feeling, however, is that times have moved on. People want better views now and unless it is major step cheaper people won't go behind the goal. So let them have it. When they can't sell their allocation the 4 for a score thing for the lower schoool end seemed to fill it up. Though I know this enrages some ST holders I think it's fair enough.
Yep thats definitely a good Idea - Home fans on all sides of the ground!!! Also think it would help the players too hearing support behind both goals!!!
Don't you mean booing behind both goals. This optimism won't last long. This is Rangers after all
Probably all the PL clubs have a stand that house home and away fans.I would go as far as to say that nearly all, clubs do.
I don't recall seeing many grounds where one stand is reserved for away fans only, apart from perhaps those with huge travelling support and if the particular stand is small like QPR's school end.
Designing & building some kind of barrier on the concourse and segregating seats should be a doddle for an architect to design.

Why not make the school end the family stand?
Also, the 4 for £20 option or some other incentive would also help fill the stand.
The reason QPR are struggling for crowds at present is the cost and low morale amongst fans, mostly caused by FB and Co. He is gone now, and if QPR can win a few games, fans will be interested again.
QPR got 17,000 against Leicester and can get this type of attendance on a frequent basis if the price is right and the team is doing well.
