Who knows if he'll work out? But we have to stop dismissing players as if we're European super scouts before we actually see them play.
im not dismissing him at all.i have hardly seen the lad play so i cnt make a judgement i just think we should give the lad german his chance instead of signing another loan player.

Wasn't aiming that at you. Look back in the thread. It's happened already.

fair enough mate.i know wot u mean tho.we do have a tendancy to write players off before they have even killed a ball for us.

having a tall fella up front doesn't have to equate to long ball football.... but it does give that option and can also keep at least one defender tied up freeing space for the other forward...my thoughts are that weve got one of the best crossers in cookie, and tall geezers tend to get their nut on more than most.

If we could get Ambrose(or another wide man)we would have 2 decent crossers, so plenty of ammo for the front pairing!
I came here to chew gum and kick ass,and I'm all outta gum!

This is just paper speculation about a player coming in, last week it said Warnock was bringing in clyne and Ambrose.

Might be better to see if we get Warnock first, before jumping to conclusions to a 6ft 7ft giant

obviously petey why get excited with all these player transfers when the thing is warnock hasnt even assesed qprs team yet he might be of the same opinion as me that we have a good squad and might only need a few tweaks not neccas a whole team

speroni would be the only one that i would take from palace as a defenite hell fit in the sqaud because its easy to say that

I'm not gettting excited because it a paper article, which most take as gospel.

We haven't got Warnock yet, let alone a 6ft 7inches bean pole.

Never known Warnock to be told what players to bring in and he is 61, so if we do get him I suspect it is paper talk. Interesting to talk, but paper talk neverhteless.

Yeah he did but it was only Doncaster and only one game. Every other game he's played he has been far adrift from looking like a Championship. Everyone has good and bad days. Being a good footballer isn't always about doing something fantastic; it’s more about being a consistent performer.

oh i know that.but was his first start all the other times ur referring to he has come on as a sub and it can be very hard to make an impact sometimes.
im not saying he is now a world beater but after his performance on saturday he warrants another chance.

he might have old ties with sheff united players that he took there?

What's the fascination with Wolves reserves?

Been plenty over the years haven't there?

The two jokers in Holloway's last few games (Lowe and one other) and now the current crop.

Is there a "special" relationship with Jez Moxey? I know we stiffed him over Sheron when Moxey was at Stoke, but still, surely that particular debt is repaid?

With the possible exception of Hill, none of these players have improved what we have and yet again we look like shelling out for something with zero return.

                            What's the point?
