lsa was created to oppose the proposed merger
"The kids missed everything from Queens Park Rangers to Conkers".

London Pride has been handed down to us.
London Pride is a flower that's free.
London Pride means our own dear town to us,
And our pride it for ever will be.

didnt think so. Am only 32 so was young at the time, my dad was a member though and tagged along with him not really understanding what it was all about. Think i was the only kid on the away coaches at times

Have to say this is a bit like a Lost episode to me ....

Bound to turn into an anti GP thread though :laughter:

I was asking a question couldn't you tell.

My dad knows him and I know of him vaguely from my days as a kid travelling with the LSA but not personally.

Funny that, how far the memory stretches back....don't remember you on those coaches though :laughter:

                            not in 1970's, you wouldn't:laughter:

My parents wouldn't allow a 7-8 year old to go alone on a coach, considering they never supported the club

Talking about the late 80s..does any LSA member in his 40s or 50s remember a guy called JIM from West Drayton..not the sharpest tool in the box but never missed a game..used to stand in the lower loft and pretty much always wore a dennis the mennis guinness shirt
