  • Easy Money ..................

History has a habit of repeating itself.

The last time Hartford was in charge of his last game as QPR manager, was an unexpected away win at Charlton and when Boro came to us earlier in the season, they were 9/2, which was also a great bet.

Time to bash the bookies just like Gillingham away (9/2) and Cardiff away (5/1).

You are absolutely right Paul, they were also a newly relegated club at the time and play in red.

Whilst driving up to Peterborough the other week, to my horror, I passed a sign for Colchester. This got me thinking about that trip where we had recently appointed Harford as caretaker against a team who play in blue and white stripes, when we put in a shocking performance and lost 4-2.
I then arrived to find a ground as similarly sub standard as Layer Road.
Common sense should have seen me accept the fact that I'd wasted my money, but sadly it didn't prevail.

          It happens at QPR.

Gregory's first game in charge was Hull at LR. We won 2-0.
After he was sacked and GiGi was appointed on a full time basis, we played Hull at LR. Again, the result was 2-0 to the Rangers.

Fingers crossed as I am laying down a reasonable sum of cash (nowt huge) on a win for us at Boro.

I thought the odds on us beating Doncaster were okay too: 11/8 ...seeing as Briatore had stepped down and I read Pete was bringing his drum, I thought it was a good bet for us to end out losing streak. Paid for my day out ...reckon backing us to beat WBA is worth a poke if the odds are half-decent.
