You might find this hard to believe but not ALL QPR fans hate GP, a lot of people (like myself - thought I should make that clear before I get added to the Fatwa) our neutral and trust that the new board know what they are doing.

The fact is everyone who has ever met GP or seen the way he is treated by everyone else at the club is saying the same thing. He genuinely does care about the club and is very well respected by the playing, coaching and administration staff.

It is easy for us as outsiders to complain and point out the mistakes he has made (of which there have been plently) but is there not a chance that we may have mistaken honest mistakes for something more sinister?

I respect the opinions of the likes of Pete, Scott and SM, though I may not always agree with them (particularly Pete). And if these guys, and everyone else who has met GP for that matter, are saying the same thing then there must be some substance to it. I for one have put my dislike for GP behind me for now and I am looking forward to seeing what we can achieve with our new, re-structured boardroom.

It's mutually beneficial; the fans get to interact with the chairman, the chairman gets the opportunity to communicate with the fans in an honest and relaxed atmosphere.

If our chairman uses that opportunity in a negative way, it's his own problem, not SM's. Not only does SM lend our club conceivably the best support there is but he's also willing to give up more of his time in an attempt to turn over more stones to reveal exactly what's been happening at QPR over the last few years.

Of course GP is using SM, anyone wanting to publish any opinions or facts is 'using' whatever media source they pick in order to air those views. How is it a negative thing that our chairman happens to have chosen one of our own? It offers added benefit that SM, as a trustworthy chap won't be spinning any of the answers to make his report any more shocking or hard hitting.

I have said it before and the last few years have shown up how shallow our fan base actually is ! Thank god we didn't get up and get in the Champions League because the way some fans have handled it, is quite frankly embarrassing. What excatly has SM done wrong ? Gerry Francis did the same for me back in the early 90's, was he using me ?
FFS move on, if the Mittals think GP is worthy of a job then that is it, end of, they own the club and if he was that bad he would be out and Jim I happen to trust them more than someone like you, who is just using a FANS SITE to embarrass another supporter !
