I'm baffled as to why this is being discussed - have we nothing better to talk about ? Move on!

I would suggest we won't be anywhere near the top.

        In the last 2 reports,

We were bottom of the league on one? right??

on the other we were near the top?? right
Means nothing tbh. You can hide those fees anywhere.

In transfer fees, in loans to companies, in signing on fees, in mutually exclusive arrangements.

TBH - either good or bad, no-one takes a blind bit of notice of those tables.

Okay fair enough, no real point in debating.. agents fees so we don't know and the official football league stats, are irrevelant.

At least thats cleared that up.

Now back to the original subject

Why didn't we spend millions on players, to get us promoted?

Flavio did it the wrong way round, surely you build a team playing quality football(paying for quality players)then, when you start getting more bums on seats, you make the changes to the ground and then put prices up because if we were to go up,people wouldn't mind that because they would get to see Prem football.

I think we did. Especially the early part of Briatore's reign - 4 yr deals for Agyemang, Hall etc. But those loan fees certainly add up and also have no resale value whereas Connolly and Gorkks will recover what was spent on them

Nodge you clearly know your stuff so roughly how much do you think the club would have spent on the likes of De Carmine, Parejo, Tomassi, Lopez, Miller, Reid etc etc?

All told? 7 figures easily. Mostly weighted towards Di Carmine, Ledesma and Parejo

What is the point in this thread everyone knows we didn't pay £3.5 million.

Now for the 5th time can you please back up what you have said about transfer fees on your previous thread.

Can you please tell me how I can acquire this information from the football league and can he please explain how you know Faurlin was a free transfer as I would consider this to be sensitive confidential information.

Back up what you say with concrete facts.

Not everyone knows that otherwise they would have ALL voted NO. You presume everything.

                            You just keep believing,

Connolly was 1 million and Hogan was £800,000, sure not many believe that either.

I have answered your question before, I get my information, you get yours. Stick to posting links from The Sun and soccerbase.com, who you agree with, because it matches your beliefs.

I'll let everyone else make a judgement on what I provided.

Flavio spending more than £3.50 would surprize me
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles
