If the whispers today are true and we won't meet Warnock's wage demands, then I can't see us meeting Coppell's or Curbishley's either.

If we stay up this season, then I expect Dowie to be given a longer contract at the end of this season

Warnock isn't worth what he's asking. Believe me. He is already one of (if not, THE) highest managerial earners in the Championship and I'm led to to believe he wouldn't come here unless he received an increase on that.

Unless you're Manchester City, every club has to have a budget (even Chelsea) and, IMO, it's not worth blowing that sort of money on Neil Warnock.
