I can't answer that but to have such a high average win ratio over 7 different clubs speaks volumes. Even without promotion he has a very good win ratio
How goddard can make keegan his 3rd choice is a worry, he clearly underrated Warnock who has been there done it and will do it over and over again.
Yep, I expect the flak over Keegan.
But while we're posting managerial records... take a look at his record at every club he's ever been at.
Newcastle - Promoted, as champions.
Fulham - Promoted, as champions.
Man City - Promoted, as champions.
Never relegated, and the only man in history to win the division we are currently in with 2 different clubs.
Them's facts. Like him or not.
Better than winning the play-offs with Scarborough in 1952.
I'm joking about Warnock, a bit.
I'd be perfectly happy to see him come in. He's just not top of my wish-list, that's all.
at the present time with the club in the position it's in i have to say bring in neil warnock.
a season or so ago a definate no from me but i feel that the club needs someone to grab the situation with both hands and take control in all matters regarding the footballing side and kick a few a***s re some of the players!
i think NW is the man to do that and won't be "controlled" from above.
End of the day, it's all about opinions. I'd hate it if everyone agreed with me as I'd have no chance to argue my case, just as there would be no ammo provided to rate another manager. Keegan however isn't great. Yes, he's been promoted as champions but other that Fulham (where he had a blank cheque book) he was with already established and huge clubs with already powerful squads. Granted, hecstill had to keep them winning but half the job is done when you have one of the best squads in the league. We've unfortunately had to put up with too many changes and much interference at QPR which has hindered us. Keegan hasn't had that worry.
Keegan has had plenty of downs too. I'd be genuinely gutted if he took over.

I know Benny. he's not my realistic choice, but I do think he gets an unfair slating sometimes, when you look at his record at clubs.
He's not a runner anyway, and I didn't even put him in the poll, but he does provoke debate!
He's painted as one, but you can't be a clown with that CV.
Just to underline.. I'd be fine with Warnock, honestly. But I'd like better.
What you get, and what you want are rarely the same at QPR.
Curbs was interviewed on Talksport this morning. Said he was relieved West Ham stuff is sorted out and he is looking forward to getting back into management. He said there is nothing in the pipeline and probably wont be till the summer...:(

That suggests to me that he is waiting to see what Premiership opportunities come up.
