Take you blinkers off for a minute.

All I am doing is confirming two things..

1...In the two and half years, we've spent hardly anything and sold two players at very good prices.

2..If this club had any ambition, we would have bought players in January instead of selling Routledge and bringing in loans.

If you disagree with that, then fair play. Most supporters agree with the two points and thats why we are near the bottom and not challenging.

How its a defence of one person, is still beyond me. I must be missing something

Also, totally agree about loans. A club with ambition should not be bringing in loans this January, would you not agree?

What I have seen is you twist a number of quoted fees to put your own spin on the argument to my Paladini look good.

I have seen various Forest posters on their MB's for example quote they paid 750-800k for Blackstock in the same way you are claiming they paid £1.75 million. The posters who quoted this figure seem to know what they are talking about and £1 million is a massive difference for losing our top goalscorer only to be replace with an Italian Carthorse.

I am expecting some of that WR money to be used as compo for Warnock.
If we don't pay 1 million which I think will be the most that they would want then I think its a disgrace and it will be hard for us to move in the right direction. If warnock comes in it makes this whole GP debate pointless. Gp is fine at the club if he keeps out of footballing matters, if we bring in an average manager then I think he will want his say, so a decent manager ends this over drawn debate.

I notice however that you have put up no links, quotes or any sort of factual justification for your argument to back up your point. I did a history degree and the one thing we were tought above all else was to back up your arguments with references. I think you should definately take note of this point.

Your point that we have spent hardly anything in the last two years is a complete fabrication. Yesterday I suggested we could look through the accounts together, in order to show you the amount of money spent by the club on all manner of things. I am going to say this again as I am extremely worried about your ability to understand principles of expenditure, business and general finance and mathematics.

Your point regarding ambition is correct. We should have not sold Routledge, but then again we should not have sold Camp, Blackstock or loaned out HH without having quality replacements already at the club. However Briatore has no knowledge of players and the Director of Football was responsible for bringing in these people. If Flav cut the cash this January then it is because he was probably shocked at the amount we have spent on many players (both permanent and loanee) and staff whilst also increasing the wage bill exponentially and getting very little return on players we have moved on because they were released (Bolder, Timoska, Ainsworth, Bignot, Flood etc etc) or sold for a pittance (Camp).

If you would like to reply can I ask you to provide references to defend your argument, not just a claim that you know someone at the football league.

The clubs official website says we have signed Faurlin in a deal worth £3.5m. Whether that is transfer or not it is money the club has to find to pay people concerned. See suddenly how running a football club becomes expensive and that even getting in a free transfer player will still cost the club a lot of money. Hence making your claim that Flav has spent very little redundant?

Flav cutting the purse strings is my opinion. If you read closely you can see I wrote the word "probably". This signifies that I do not know but that I am guessing based on what I do know of the situation and of the people involved.

I hope you can now see that in fact an awful lot has been spent on the football club, the problem is that it has had no tangible results and that we are once again in a relegation fight.
