The right man for the job, the best man for the job... bar none.

    Can't see it though.
He'll have options in the summer, plenty of them.

But to answer the original question, Warnock or Dowie, who will it be??
I now think Warnock will come. Probably.

And his managerial record full stop over the last 14 years, come to that.

In all that time (14 years) he's had one promotion, and one relegation.
I wouldn't exactly be over the moon with Iain Dowie, but he can show that sort of record on his CV too. Plenty can.
What's so special about Warnock and his one promotion? And that was with a big club after years of trying and falling.

What about managers in the last 10/15 years or so who've had multiple promotions, or at least more than one?

Paul Jewell, Coppell, Curbishley, Keegan etc.. have better promotion records than NW (or Dowie), and are all out of work and wont need prising away from their current clubs.

I know it seems I'm having another pop at Warnock here, but - although I think he's a decent option, and I would support him 100% if he rolls up in W12... I don't see why there is quite so much awe over his recent record, when others who have better CV's are just dismissed.

If it's Warnock -fine. But I think we could do better.

        But then I'm a bit of a greedy b*****d.
Keegan is a great shout but never gonna happen, Jewell on the other hand

Keegan? I'd rather be a palace fan. Ridiculous idea for us.

And as I said before, I sincerely can't think of a better manager for the position we're currently in, including Curbs and especially the likes of Jewell and Coppell. Just my opinion though.

Which always reminds me of this:

Warnock is the only manager out the short list that will not cause a divide in the support again

If Dowie came back then i think booing would soon start once results didnt go our way.

Where as Warnock then i think 90% would want him.
