Dreadful game between 2 pony sides, injuries now are crucifying our team, the team on at the end was a bizarre mix of players not injured.

A point is a step closer but we have to get some players back, Bennie up top says it all.

Game was so bad it was instantly forgettable.

With our track record of signing players for decent money, probably be a better investment keeping it in the bank and earning 5% interest

I'd go as far to say he is the best no 10 in the premier league on form. Man utd albeit think he'll go to better are now also interested with spurs and I'm expecting a bidding war because players like him are hard to find and it's not a matter of when it's just how much!

Could be fake news but I read his new contract had a £68 million release clause so can’t see anyone paying more than that. Any extra paid out by the bidding clubs will go to Eze as a signing on fee

That has been stated in the press with a release clause of £63m.

With a release clause there no benefit to bidding more than that because at that point clubs are allowed to speak with him. If theres any extra cash in the deal, then it will go to Eze as part of which club he decides to join from those interested.. Talk of £90m is nonsense in my opinion. However, I thought Sir Les confirmed it was a 25% sell on clause?

The range is therefore £12.6m to £15.75m of £63m depending what the sell on percentage is.

With the Board putting in £250k a week (£12m a year) any windfall might give them a year off keeping up afloat? There might be some money spare, but I doubt they'll spend that windfall and fund us to the full £12m as well. Abs also said in another thread there's money need to repay the fans who bought the bond that was used in part to build the training facility.

Even if the Eze sale happens I very much doubt we'll see much difference in our transfer activity. We did €6m on Celar & Madsen and look how that's panned out!!

Agree with everything and sure Lloyd gave his all but he looked tired to me was huffing and puffing a bit. Like him as a player but not the finished item yet

Absolutely dire. Luckily we came up a team who are a shambles and heading out of the division. The point gained is the only thing to cling onto.

Oh, that's 2 games on the trot with zero fun or entertainment on offer. Yeah, we're in a tense situation but it can't excuse serving up tripe every game.

It's FFP money though isn't it, it reduces our need to cut spending costs on the squad. Obviously, if the money isn't there anyway then it's a moot point.
