Game lacked any quality , up in the air from both teams .
Yang , Lloyd, Anderson and Morgan slow and poor .
Edwards and Colback had a good game .
We just don't move the ball forward quickly enough.
Our best 11 are good if we can get them on the pitch but the squad is to weak .

Play more directly , said this before. Turn the opposition get in behind, use smyth pace.
I would put Dunne up front and use him as focal point.
Get the mf running off him.
Matt Smith style

Managers are conscience of their "brand" and their next job. Marti will play out from the back with this boring continental modern style because it's only that style that will progress his managerial career.
We went down the direct route with Ainsworth and there was a mutiny from players and fans alike. We will continue with the current style even though we dont have the players to execute it properly.

Have to say ,fed up with this brand of football, getting t is knowhere.Thing is we have a little run and Marti all of a sudden is a tactics genius even doing interviews about it,then we lose 10 out of 13.I don’t see many managers talking about their tactics.High press it is for me which is 2 forwards defending from the front this midblock #### is no good for us.Nice when it works, but does not happen enough.Up and at them with passion in this league.

The overridding contributing factor to this season is injuries
there hasn't been a single game this season when we have had a fully fit squad to chose from.
I know injuries are always part of the equation but i can't remember a season as bad as this. and to key players
when you take out the following for large parts of the season we are always going to struggle
Cook
Clarke salter
Morrison
Fox
Colback
Varane
Field
Dembele
Frey
Celar
Kohli
anderson
Saito
i think only Nardi and Smyth have been included in every championship game squad

Congratulations to all our wonderful fans. You are, no doubt, right now, easily the thing our club can be most proud of. That and the good work the club does in the community. If only, any other parts of the club, were as impressive. We live in hope.

Injuries are not the overriding factor. Marti is. It's his tactics, his set-up and his approach. I don't even think he set us up not to lose yesterday - we took part in the game, sort of "existed" in it, and right up until the 93rd minute it could have panned out as win, lose or draw. We didn't do anything to tilt the result at all, it just happened to us. That is 100% Marti.
