  • My theory on why we are so bad!

Paal - going so doesn’t care
Dunne - going so doesn’t care
Edwards - on loan so doesn’t care
Colback - no contract extension so doesn’t care
Anderson - no contract extension so doesn’t care
Morgan - not good enough great potential though
    Fox - past his best
    Dembele- still unfit
Smythe - works hard but not good enough

Nardi and Varane doing their best but not enough

    Subs

    Yang - he doesn’t care
Lloyd - not good enough but does try
Madsen - waste of money and awful attitude

Also our 2 best performers from last season cook and JCS not playing .
Field always puts in 100% not playing.
Chair tho off the boil always occupies 2 players.
      Frey occupies defenders not playing
      Paal playing but not playing.
Madsen and Anderson playing but god knows how.
The rest of them either half hearted or just not good enough.
They can lift themselves for Leeds but not stoke
      .. Embarrassing

Heard that Martí can be a nasty piece of work and the players don’t like him. Just a rumour but who knows !!

            - Our two big money signings have been a disaster

            - Our small budget means the more experienced players we can sign are damaged goods, and due to injuries will only be available half of the time

            - Our small budget means we have to develop young players who will make mistakes on the pitch as they develop

            - Towards the end of the season loan players have probably been told by their parent clubs to return injury free, so will not give it their all

            - Players who know they're going to get released want to be injury free when they look for other clubs, so will nit give it their all

            - We can't play high intensity football all of the time due to our injury prone squad and the manager sets our tempo for each game accordingly.

What, St.Marti!? Surely not. Today's formation, tactics and set-up were criminally poor though. Marti has to be held accountable for that aspect of things so I suppose it could get tetchy in the dressing room if Marti is dishing out criticism or stick to players who feel his gameplan is shite.

One thing we obviously lack is leader(s) on the pitch. Someone with a big obvious loud "presence", someone setting a tone or tempo. Aside from Fox, they were a bunch of quiet little lambs today. All the absent injured players are quiet too... We urgently need someone to puff their chest out and become the beating heart or general of the team.

Playing the likes of paal and andersen and then rubbing the supporters noses in it by bringing on that clown madsen on. I genuinely think MC is going to walk in the summer. No one would genuinely start a midget up front and someone as weak and slow as andersen as his main line of support.

Something ain't right. A blind man could see that we just need some sort of presence up top. Does anyone remember Paul Warhurst of Blackburn Rovers???

Centre back who went up front and scored loads!

I’m adding nardi to the list. Great shot stopper most of the time but I find his distribution and ability to deal with crosses not as good as we need. Dunne was poor today as well as too easily beaten by winger. Being picked for Ireland gone to his head. Colback probably has good stats but seems close to play for too many goals but not close enough and going through motion. Manager a lot to answer for today.

We're far too quick as fans to blame players wholesale as not being good enough, legs have gone, doesn't care etc etc.

There's alot a play here and i feel we're looking at a manager that's either trying to force a square peg into a round hole with his team sheet and setup, or over thinking his selection and tactics.

We're not doing very well because we aren't playing cohesive football, because we are unable or because we simply aren't being allowed to.

I find it bemusing that we have the ability, even with these injuries to play far better than we are doing, but yet fumble and drag ourselves around the pitch the way we have been in this latest run.

If my point isn't clear, i'm blaming Marti here. While i think he still has limitations with this squad especially with injuries, he should be getting more of a tune than he has been recently. No one expects the kind of promotion winning run we were on every week, but we can certainly be doing better. If the players are 'over it' or 'out the door' it's up to him and his team to motivate them. No different to any other job.

Managers are always to blame, let's leave the players alone that were performing well not too long ago
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I see main issues as defence, midfield and attack. That aside we seem to be heading in the right direction.

we gone to 2nd from bottom of the form table only Blackburn below us, yes weve had tough run of fixtures and injuries with Cardiff and Oxford next 2 games need a win from one of them

Need players back badly or we could end up right in the dog fight

I thought Colback should be a leader ...

As most on this site know i think Marti is a poor manager that plays negative football , be glad when he goes. We only start playing when we are 2 down and by then it's too late. If we lose to Cardiff and Oxford , it's goodbye to the Championship.
