Trust me have loads of spurs mates no wondered he scored like I said he would. He is too good for us will be premier league soon so just enjoy why you can bus
From what I've seen of him he's pulled up no trees , thought he did ok when he came on at Millwall , then had a stinker at wba .
Hope he proves me wrong .
Seems to be club-wide thing, an obsession with "utility" players who can play in multiple positions. Yeah, it's a great concept but it patently isn't working, we are definitely in Jack of all trades but master of none in most positions on the pitch now.
It works when you spend Man city money and have a culture of football developed by a guy who literally wrote a style of play around all players being comfortable on the balls in most areas, but not at our level.
Come on Weare, he could run the line, hold up play and is good with his head. He would have been a better option than the sh1tsh0w today!
But yeah, crazy that the situation we're in has lead us to think about these sorts of solutions.
And to think Liverpool once won the league with a squad of 16 players......if my memory serves me right. We've bought a pack of sick notes!!
And I think you're thinking of Arthur Gnohere under Ollie.
Iirc I remember Georges Santos being moved upfront as a target man out of desperation in a couple of game under Holloway. He was a dreadful centre back and was worse up top.

I went to Leeds away when we went 0-1 up and lost 6-1 when Brian Deane got four. I'm sure Arthur was up front that day. That was a long drive home!
