Tricky game
didn't realise Archer Haydon dozzell were all there.
Not tricky if they all play....
Pompey's home form is decent this season but frankly we shouldn't be losing to them. And, if we are to maintain our status as "playoff hopefuls/outsiders" and get beyond being permanently "only 4pts from 6th" we ought to be laying down a marker and winning this sort of fixture.

Amazing how your spiral of expectations has just shot up!!??Wasn't long ago you wanted Marti to get on his bike

You seem inable to let any form of criticism or comments that maybe anything other than positive, which by the way lead to constructive and interesting conversation, be in the past, or even to debate them.
It seems a recent thing. You're right to keep the faith in Marti and the team, well done. I think if you look back through every comment you've called out and actually read it, instead of being immediately offended by it or at least felt the urge to jump to whoever is being criticised defence, you'll find nearly everyone i'm sure, is actually a fan of QPR and is pretty keen on Marti and the team doing well.
If we all pop on here and chirp amazing wonderful fantastic when we're aren't winning every single game, it's not exactly worth coming on.
Forums are like a pub, without the booze and because there is barrier between whats being said behind a keyboard, things can be said more freely. Healthy debate is good, calling out people when they've got something wrong is kinda fun, but i feel it's run it's course now mate.
Sept to mid-Nov was horrible and the slowness of each game seemed to be driven by Marti. It was either his preferred style of play, or managing the resources he had left after so many injuries. Celar was firing blanks, or perhaps not even firing at all. Legitimate questions had to be asked whether another manager could get a tune out of the players. But he seemed to realise he was in the last chance saloon and that victory away to Cardiff seemed to start a different, more energetic, style of play.
Marti was very close to losing the supporters after a very frustrating ten weeks of drab performances. We are here to debate and have our say....Marti turned it around just in time. Last seasons miracle just about gave Marti the extra few weeks he needed.
Those fans who doubted him shouldnt be criticised for their doubts over Marti, in the same way that WeAre shouldn't be laughed at for beclaiming that Mick Beale was the "real deal" because he's played the game and knows what we don't.
Sounds like Dembele and Andersen available for the bench, be really good to see Dembele added to the options list. Nice to say he's going to have to work hard and impress to get into the starting line up.
Hope Marti starts Yang again, exciting player there. No reason to the change the starting 11 from Derby?
I think we all call it as we see it at the time. A crystal ball would be nice but you have to change your opinions as and when. Deal with the here and now and we are all peeing in the same pot after all.
They had a good win at Oxford last week. Promises to be a tough game but winnable. We need to be up for it though and start fast. If we aren't /don't..................???
Reckon you're right but it oughtn't be..... we are not mathematically safe from the drop but we are 99% safe so there's no need to be playing fearful, slow cagey football.
Looking upwards we probably need around 27pts from the remaining 39pts available to make top 6. It's a tall order and, given some of our remaining fixtures probably a bit beyond us. So, it seems to me we are in the perfect position to throw caution to the wind and go into games all guns blazing with the emphasis on attack, attack and attack.... you score 1 then we'll score 3 sort of mentality. a 0-0 or 1-1 would be an utterly drab dispiriting result for both teams. If it were 3-3 or 4-4 I'd at least think we "had a proper go". BUT..... smashing them 1-4 would make all our weekends and we move onto looking for 24pts from remaining 36pts available...
I got my WBA ticket yesterday - would be good to go into that game having won one of our next two and make the game there a sell-out and interesting against a team we're trying to reel in.

A brilliant summary of how we stand. Let’s see how good we can be with a bit of controlled recklessness
