I know it's a long shot, but I actually feel we could get something from both games. Boro were quite poor against Forest and they havent really settled under Strachan and i think we could nick a point or get a smash and grab win. Their main threat will be lita but if we can shut him out then we should have a chance of not conceding too many, forest frustrated him and were really physical so i think that connoly and faurlin should be in midfield but ramage should be dropped for legsofwood (he needs to stay back though) because i really think ramage is a poor footballer. Watched the West brom game today and they were not too good, Dorrans, Brunt and Bednar are their main threats and they didnt look to great today. They were quite good on the break but their left back was getting skinned all day long by haynes and sproule (if only we had routledge!) so if we have a pacy winger we could cause them some problems. IMO their main weakness is at the back because their full backs are attacking and it leaves them vulnerable down the wings. Think that we will have to play cook and buzz on the wings because they are quite attacking on the flanks (i cannot see taarabt putting in a tackle) and i cannot see ramage handling mattock and jerome thomas, and hill handling zuiverloon and brunt. Think that we can get something out of these games if the confidence is high and the players are ready to give 100%. Thankfully we should have warnock (if eghamhoop is right!) for the WBA game so they should be fired up for that.
My team for boro would be:
Ikeme
Legs Gorkks Stewart Hill
Buzsaky Connoly Faurlin Cook
German Simpson
or if we want a more offensive approach approach:
Ikeme
connoly Gorkks Stewart Hill
taarabt buzsaky Faurlin Cook
German Simpson
Cerny can start if fully fit
