Great signing, he's not been at his best since coming back from injury, but has previously been a great servant to the club. It wouldn't be the same without him around.

That's good news indeed. He's been here years, he's getting back to his best and is good having him around, he's virtually part of the furniture.... I'll fetch me coat now.

You wouldn't of known he was on the pitch today

Undecided on Chair. I'd have let him go. Not sure he'll get back to highs of few seasons ago.

Fantastic news. One of the best players in the league hence why Leeds showed plenty of interest
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

It’s tricky - he is a great on his day but those days seem to be few and far between atm

He also throws the balance on the team out which makes us easier to defend against- on the right side Smith head down get to by line on the left side chair cut inside - no longer seems able to take the defence on.

hopefully he will return to the player we know he can be.

He is missing a side kick like Willo. Need to have Dembele back pronto.

I agree with 3London's post entirely. Illy is a great servant and potentially a very good player. But he has an increasing tendency to throw the balance of the attack out. His main movement seems sideways across the pitch which has that affect. I hope he can return to being the player we know he can be.

There's nothing more I'd like than him to get back to his best , but it just isn't happening.
He holds on to the ball for far to long , checks back then passes it back .
Will he get into the team when dembele returns and if saito is playing well.

I was never sure about Smyth, thought he was too lightweight. I thought Chair would kick on this season but it’s actually Smyth that’s developed. Playing a yard off the full back means he doesn’t get involved in the physical and can play the ball past him.

Chair needs to get his head down and perform. Odd flashes of brilliance but Adel he is not. A lot of games there’s not enough flair to keep him on the pitch. At a time when we need money, I’d have flogged him.

Needs a bloody good pre season which he never had this season, best to write him off this season as he’s not performing as usual
