    What’s the latest ?

    I think it’s quite important

    I haven't read anything.

He's getting game time so Im sure he'll sign a new contract. Hopefully by the end of this window. At 19yrs surely he wouldnt want to play to the end of the season and risk a major injury.

Didn't he want to leave due to lack of game time?
Lets see if he's still scoring goals or contributing to the overall game in the way he is today. He's come in and been a breath of fresh air, looks like a completely different to but still the best striker we've had since Austin... maybe... its been 4 games and he's been lucky with some diabolical keeping to concede some of his goal. But we can't take away his link up play and general attitude when being on pitch.

If he signed a new contract tomorrow I'd be happy, but I'd also not be surprised if Marti doesn't stick with him when Frey and Celar are back.

After he scored his first goals, just some weeks ago, Marti said that he (Kolli) will go on to score many goals for the R's.

I think someone said his father is his agent? I'm not sure if the rumour was around playing time or money? As a 19yr old academy player, the website Capology may not be too far off by stating he's on £500 a week. Now he's in the first team surely he'll go onto £4k a week as a first year rookie? If he keeps scoring his Dad may wait till the summer and see if there's higher offers than that. If he leaves we'll get decent compo.

Look, he was NOT getting game time despite being fit and available. He was clearly getting snubbed for some reason. We were useless, winless and toothless up front but he was getting overlooked every week.

I have no idea what was going on but I surmise he was on the "naughty step". He only got his chance when we literally had no choice after Zelar got crocked.

Now I'm all in favour of club not being held hostage over contract talks (especially if there's a father/agent doing the agitating) BUT I feel the club has massively ballsed up over the handling of Kolli thus far and urgently needs to remedy the situation. If he slips through our fingers it will make a complete mockery of our development pathway for kids.

After his first goal Marti mentioned in the post match interview that he now knows what is expected of him to be a first team player, or something to that effect. To me it did hint at a issue....whether it be frustration on his part and/or attitude concerns.

Hopefully, we can put that down down to self belief, impatience, immaturity etc. But that's in the past and his body language on the pitch is good, and no hint of anger when he was subbed for Frey on Sat.

If there was an issue, everyone has moved on and im sure he'll sign a new deal whilst appreciating that this is the place to be, now hes getting regular game time at 19yrs, which is not the norm these days. Why would he mive to a bigger club and likely end up back in the reserves or development squad??
