If we shouldn't be taking that we aren't relegated as a given yet, we shouldn't be assuming we can't make the playoffs either.
We are mathematically more likely to make the playoffs and catch up on 7 points on the 8 teams above us than we are to drop 15 points to the 8 teams below us.

Maths aside we won’t be relegated and we won’t make playoffs. Tbh a decent mid table position is more than acceptable and achievable

Agreed, but i'd like to see as many positive responses as negative when things were equally likely of both.
Someone else made a comment about us not having a winning mentality, this is what contributes to it.

The club's supporter base seems very middle-aged to even senior who have been through it over the years. The phrase 'Same ol' Rangers' seems very much alive. Im 57 yrs and have seen more bad times than good to the point you're almost waiting for things to blow up.

Hopefully we'll get a bit more success one day and a younger supporter base will cone onboard without all this baggage.

I live in hope more than expectation and cant enjoy my QPR experience expecting the worst. There are plently of other things going on in the world to depressed about.

Bar from an appalling start to season we could've been chugging along similarly to Blackburn or Bristol City. Unfortunately, by the time "we woke up" we were too far adrift to rescue this season. Can't really predict next season cos the team will be overhauled but no reason we can't do better. I don't feel the standard below top 4ish sides is anything special and there's no reason we can't have a season where we are always in the mix. But, wish they'd get a move on and do it before any more of my brain cells fail.....

I see so many of my of my mates kids at football on a Sunday morning.
Chelsea , arsenal kits on but they never go .
It's either too expensive or their dad's can't get tickets .
I don't get it why support a team u can't watch live . Still see loads of younger fans at games , and long may it continue .
Fulham new stand is £150 a ticket for their grade A games ( Chelsea , arsenal , Liverpool , man city etc ) . Imagine paying that and £80 for your kids .

And that sums up why I'd only want us to go up for the cash boast, so we can be competitive in the championship over the long term.

The championship is a brilliant league and I have no interest in seeing us on the wrong end of referring decissions against the big boys. I can understand why young lads go into their academies, but we're cherry picking the good ones of late.

Anything over £50 to watch a game and im loading up the dodgy sky on the firestick!

But we don't appear to be scrapping right now. Be interesting to see how we approach next week's game with a fellow struggler. Obviously if we play like today we will not win so something has to give.

                    • Marti stated a while ago that the target is to get to 50pts. That's what the players are working towards and I'm sure they'll succeed in achieving that "ambition" over the next seven games. One win, two draws and job done.

But we've just ONE point from last SIX games. People will say they were tough games but we've put in a total "no show" in the easiest of the six, the game in which Marti ought to have been targeting as the game for getting back on track. I don't share your faith in the players Sheep and I feel fairly sure 50pts won't actually be enough either.

Our best hope are fixtures against teams who are wearing bigger flip-flops than us, maybe Swansea at home and Preston away?

How could we target this game for a win without a CF.....we only had a half fit rookie.

We have to target the next five games and if we can't get enough from those we deserve to go down.

                          Cardiff (H)
                          Oxford (A)
                          Brizzle (H)
                          Preston (A)
                          Swansea (H)

I don't think anyone can second guess this squad and manager anymore. World beaters one minute and L1 standard the next. We seem to be in a constant cycle of clearing deadwood.

Im sure there's one win and two draws in those five games and then we just hope for the best. I think Frey will be ready for Cardiff after his tweak.

I know Marti has signed an extended contract, but I hope it comes with a cheap release payment because he's on the slippery slope!! The owners are forking out £250k a week to subsidise this dross.

Again, we head into the summer hoping Eze gets sold.

                          • I said after the Leeds game that 0 points from the next 3 games and I will really start to worry. But now think it is worse than that, if we do also lose to Cardiff and Oxford, then I think we are done for. I hate playing not to lose as for me that is anti football and entertainment, but 2 points in next two games and I will be delighted. How depressing this season is ending up.
