No other team in the league has won their last 3 games but us and only Oxford has more points than over the last 6 games.
The form team if I do say so myself, surly Marti is due a Manager of the Month at somepoint?

He is due manager of the month but probably more likely due an apology from hardcore fans like bus and Romford that wanted him sacked even after being told he is 1 of the best managers outside the premier league.

Crazy day for results in this topsy-turvy division.
Anybody's guess what lies ahead. Of course, a play off spot is in reach but would that really be in our best interests, given our current state of development? Personally although the ride may be fun, I don't think so. Let's continue building.

And if we only lasted one season in the Premier league, we would get 55% in season one in the championship and 45% in season two. Promotion would get us closer to £200m. I thought I heard that no parachute money was paid if you only last one season in the premiership, but I can't find any reference to that, so not sure where I got that from?

Plus our increased sponsorship, attendances and ticket prices. Any player that does well would, in theory, be worth a higher transfer fees. If Kolli and Morgan did well surely they'd be worth £20m each.....at least....if we cashed out.

By paying near the same salaries and not not spending big money we'd get £200-250m over the next three seasons. That money could establish us as a top half Championship club for the next ten years if used properly.

I may be wrong but I think teams get parachute payments even if they only spend one season in the EPL.

My research suggests if you get relegated in your first season, you get two seasons of parachute money. If you spend two seasons in the prem you get three seasons of parachute money.

I don't think wev'e got a chance of the play offs. I still don't think we look like a good team , yes i know our form is excellent but we don't seem to dominate a game . We are nicking results by being more compact defensively . The top teams in the division take the game to the other side and create chances and score goals , with the exception of Burnley that are a defensive side because they are managed by boring Scott Parker. I know we had a lot of chances at Plymouth but that was due to mistakes by plymouth more than our creativity.
Would love us to get to the play offs but just can't see it.

So that's no apology from you hello? harrow? You're quite negative. No reason why we can't sneak into the playoffs. Not sure why you're complaining about creating loads of chances but only winning 1 nil. Better than losing to a team bottom of the league and creating nothing like we have been used too. I know you're a massive Warburton fan which pretty much sums it up why we will never agree on styles and the way I want my football club to have the correct identity.

I have been a fan since i was a kid am 62 now , my first game was 1970 Pompey at home.
I would love us to go up but just don't believe that we look like a good side and we could easily go on a bad run and be in the relegation mix again.
I have seen some great teams down the years at Rangers , playing great football but i just don't think this team are all that. I hope they prove me wrong.
I am probably negative because since Fernandes took over we have just got worse year after year.

I wasn't a Warburton fan .
I was excited by the way Marti spoke when he first came here , saying he wanted to play attacking football and win every game but it was all complete waffle. He likes to defend nick a goal then sit back , he reminds me of Paulo Sosa.
If he gets us promoted or gets some better players in next season and changes the style then i will hold my hands up and admit i was wrong but until then.
Think Danny Rhol is a better manager , plays fast , attacking football , would rather we had him than Marti.

I notice our last two games are home to Burnley then away to Sunderland - seems we will have some influence on someone's playoff or promotion aspirations even if we ultimately fall short ourselves.

I disagree with this.

I've seen some really good performances from this side over the last couple of months, some have not come out with the right result either.

Granted, some have been woeful, and some of those have actually come out with a positive result.

Is Marti the messiah? Doubt it but i really think he's shown enough to answer most doubters, he's setting up to what he has available, what's possible and while there are some things we as fans disagree with, there can be no doubt we are improving.

Proof will be at the end of this season and where we finish up. Playoffs are a very long shot but we are 100% on playoff place form at the moment. If we keep anything like this momentum then hey, anyone still broadly criticising 'the process' needs to have a think. Doesn't mean we can ever criticise of course.

You win leagues on your bad days aswell as your good, and we're doing ok on our bad days, sign of a good team.

That the majority of this match day squad is young really does bode well for next year, which is where I'm hoping for a genuine play off push.

Getting into sixth is achievable, but I've never suggested that I think we'd win the play offs. Just getting into the play offs would be progress in itself. There are much better sides than ours that will finish 3rd - 5th, but it becomes a bit of a lottery hopefully.

I would be happy just to get into 6th this season as it would set us up nicely for 25/26 and our better players might extend contracts and we might attract better quality players.
