I see they've given us 5000 tickets. Bit optimistic eh!? Full-price is only £15 with decent discounts for young, old and infirm. Also, seems to be £5 off for members and ST holders.

I wasn't gonna bother but.... 2pm on a Saturday with cheap admission means I might be tempted. I'll see how we do over xmas league games and decide in 2 weeks.

Glory and a cup day out aside, it just goes to show there's very little money in this competition even when drawing a premiership team away. Big pay days seem to be limited to drawing the top ten prem teams away.

I'd still like us to win though.......obviously!

There's too much football. 50 games a season is ridiculous. I'd be very content with an 18-team division so 36 leagues games played at weekend only with cup games during midweek.

There's nothing intrinsically wrong with FA Cup, it's just that it comes hot on the heels of a packed league programme at an expensive time of year. Plus, early January is generally a cold, dank depressing time of year too.

Visiting club has to agree to the discounts too (it affects their spilt of the gate) so fair play to both clubs - a most sensible decision.

Yep, I bought my tickets today, 15 quid is a very decent price.

Unlikely perhaps, but I would love to see us put out our strongest team. A premier league scalp or two would be a massive confidence booster.

Given our players appear to be exhausted and dropping like flies as this Christmas schedule grinds on and I'm deffo not buying this "we've turned a corner " nonsense some are touting I'm getting very minded to putting minimal effort and resource into this cup tie.

Thing is, if we do set out to "chuck" the game what starting XI could we put out if the intention was to rest as many of 1st XI we could? It seems to me that we'd have to more or less start with the 11 that finished yesterday's game with Walsh and Lloyd in the picture too. Doesn't actually give many of our "big hitters" a rest really.

Not buying this 'we've turned a corner'?! What would you call being unbeaten in 7 games then? What a plonker you are abs!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

We're unbeaten in 1 game. I can't remember us having any shots in last two games. We've won five games all season (only two teams have won less). BUT... if you think we're cruising along nicely and can afford to have a serious crack at the FA Cup far be it from me to disabuse you of your confidence and contendedness.

I don't think we are 100% safe, but we have certainly turned a corner mentally.

We still aren't playing well, but it's getting better with more regular stints during games where the pieces are coming together. January can only help this surely, with some loan reinforcements inevitable and it looks as though no active interest in any players that are vital to our stability.

I do thinks it's fair to have a crack at Leicester, they are the kind of team we do well against and while the league is the priority, i don't think any team or manager turns up to a game being happy to lose, especially once the whistle blows. Maybe an instruction not to dive in on unecessary tackles etc.

Realistically, what kind of second string team do we put out anyway? We always have to field our 'strongest 11' because that's all we have available

We've sold 3,700 for this. I assume a victory against Luton would enthuse a few more sales and we end up with 4000 there on Saturday.

The allocation is 5000 tickets so a reasonable amount left still. I was hoping it'd be "pay on the day" which would allow me to make a decision on the day but I s'pose I'd better get a ticket now in case they sell out.

Just ordered mine (8 of us) ... asked while on phone, we've sold 3,900 so far.

I notice memberships are half price now.... might be worth getting one in readiness for the scramble for tickets on May 17th. Hold on a minute...... that date rings a bell, blast, it's day I fly for my two weeks in Tossa de Mar
