Also, knowing how football finance operates this income has probably been "factored in" and borrowed against already - we have probably already spent it!

Better than a poke in the eye but.....

Oh, chap at my golf club supports Leicester and he's underwhelmed. He mentioned that Leicester Tigers have a game at the stadium that Saturday night so game is highly unlikely to ko at 3pm on the Saturday. He reckons most likely we'll get shunted to the Friday night or maybe the Sunday. Very slim possibility of it moving back a few hours to sat lunchtime.
They have 2 consecutive home games after this tie so that, in conjunction with game getting shunted will badly affect attendance unless club implement BIG discounts he reckons.

We will play a weak team as we can't afford injuries.
Obviously Leicester are favourites but we won there earlier this year and we've been able to shut out Burnley and Sunderland in past months. We seem to have perked up a bit recently so I think we could win this tie, particularly if they opt to rest players. If come day of the tie our form is decent, I reckon we should seek to maintain that momentum and have a proper go at the game. If we're still not winning games and are stuck in relegation zone I'd accept "chucking" the cup game though.

After what, a week dithering and prevaricating they announce 3pm ko. Then a couple of days later the clowns bump it back an hour cos of the rugby.
Weird how two old codgers chewing the fat a couple of weeks ago foresaw the rugby clash yet LCFC seemingly missed it?
Anyway, its now 2pm on the Saturday.
