    Easy!!!

    Terrible draw
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

If they pull in a 25,000 crowd at £30 each they bring in £750k. Won't we get half of this? Nice earner I guess.....

I doubt they will go strong. With a home relegation game on the following Wednesday against C. Palace and then home to Fulham on the Saturday.

Reduced prices, plenty of discounts for various categories probably take that figure under £20 a head. HM Gov take their 20% VAT plus I'm pretty sure Leicester are allowed to deduct their normal match day running costs from the gross figure too..... our slice is likely to be diluted to £150K max. Better than a poke in the eye but.....

Also, knowing how football finance operates this income has probably been "factored in" and borrowed against already - we have probably already spent it!

Bloody hell.....I was hoping for a bit more than that from an away premiership tie. But better than the income we got for losing away to Vauxhall Motors all those years ago!

Oh, chap at my golf club supports Leicester and he's underwhelmed. He mentioned that Leicester Tigers have a game at the stadium that Saturday night so game is highly unlikely to ko at 3pm on the Saturday. He reckons most likely we'll get shunted to the Friday night or maybe the Sunday. Very slim possibility of it moving back a few hours to sat lunchtime.
They have 2 consecutive home games after this tie so that, in conjunction with game getting shunted will badly affect attendance unless club implement BIG discounts he reckons.

Watched them play West Ham. Extraordinary result. West Ham had so many chances and scored zero. Leicester had 3 - 3 goals.
Our defence looks no weaker than West Ham's.
I don't think we are without a chance.

Cup football is about the 11 u put out , they have a chance of winning it , we don't .
We will play a weak team as we can't afford injuries.

It annoyed me several years ago when Cardiff got to final by playing: Chasetown, Hereford, Wolves, Middlesbrough and Barnsley.... what a jammy run of fixtures! I can't remember if it was Wolves or Boro, but only 1 team in that was a Prem team (a duff prem team to boot, that ended up getting relegated that same season). With that sort of draw even we could squeak through to a semi at Wembley...

Obviously Leicester are favourites but we won there earlier this year and we've been able to shut out Burnley and Sunderland in past months. We seem to have perked up a bit recently so I think we could win this tie, particularly if they opt to rest players. If come day of the tie our form is decent, I reckon we should seek to maintain that momentum and have a proper go at the game. If we're still not winning games and are stuck in relegation zone I'd accept "chucking" the cup game though.

I always believe playing your best 11 , winning breeds confidence.
Think it's the dire cup football I've watched over the years ( except the Everton win) that's got me thinking , should I stay or should I go .

Has been confirmed as 3pm Sat 11th. Local police must be happy they can manage crowds for Footy and Rugby in the area that afternoon/evening. No ticket prices released yet .

After what, a week dithering and prevaricating they announce 3pm ko. Then a couple of days later the clowns bump it back an hour cos of the rugby.

Weird how two old codgers chewing the fat a couple of weeks ago foresaw the rugby clash yet LCFC seemingly missed it?

Anyway, its now 2pm on the Saturday.
