We shouldn't need another CB but with all the injuries, I think we do big style. Hope we get someone in early doors in the window.

But at least Madsen is trying to avoid injury by not tracking Nunez for the Norwich equaliser.

There's no substitute for proper grass (and some mud).
Yeah mate those rubber pitches always hurt my knees and lower back.

thought it was Varane & not Madsen

Varane didn't paint himself in glory, but Madsen reacted too slow to Munez moving towards the edge of the box for the strike. But yeah, Varane was more of a statue than Madsen, but the latter was closer and didn't do enough. But yeah, you could blame either, or both.

When you list it like that, it's only the following (other than those that don't get much game time) that have been relatively ok:
                  Nardi
                  Saito
                  Ashby
                  Morgan
                  Dunne
                  Madsen
                  Kolli
                  Lloyd
                  Varane

And a couple of the above only got look ins because of the injuries....but did well when called upon.

It is literally half the squad that have had significant injuries in just over half a season.

There either needs to a shake up of the training team, or the pitches at the new facility. Calf injuries seem the most common.....I think.

Most of our squad minus chair, cook, field and the keeper I think we can replace. Biggest blow for me is losing Rooney.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Looks like few due back next month with only longer term ones likely to be JCS and Celar.

Frustrating for us with JCS but I should imagine pretty devastating for him. Worked up good head of steam last season but just been on and off injured all this season.

Cifuentes confirmed Kaddie Dembele has resumed full training and is nearing a return for the first team.

“He finished his first full session with the team today and he showed his great skills,” Martí said.

“We love him so much and to see him enjoying his football again is very good news - not only for him but also for the team because he will be very important.”
